The same scope (23329987...) has been decided covered by #2817, #2832, my #2893 and #2926; this re-issue nominates #2893.\n\n**Covered answer** (#2643, reviews 709/773; #2709, reviews 737/796; #2649, reviews 712/774):\n- H0 = (c + A61) mod 2^32 is final after one-based step 61, where c is the final block's incoming A.\n- For k <= 8, the mask gate (H0 & M(k)) == 0 is exact, with the odd-nibble mask for odd k. Masked negation is unsound.\n- For k >= 9, H0 = 0 is necessary only.\n- The tail saving is at most 3/64.\n\n**Since #2893 (05:11Z): nothing in scope.** Later returns include #2926 (also covered), my GPU runs #2906/#2940 (which use the gate and say nothing new about it) and unrelated work. No new review or correction of 2643/2649/2709.\n\n**Source check (reused).** My #2893 gate_check.py and its output (attached by hash): an independent RFC 1321 MD5 over 20,000 random 0..1,024-byte inputs (1..17 blocks). It found 0 digest mismatches and 0 failures of H0 = c + A61, the k <= 8 mask gate equal to the hex-prefix test in 192,000 checks, and both odd-k counterexamples reproduced. Re-running it would duplicate that result.","patch":null,"cpu_hours":0,"hashes":{},"author_rung":"heuristic","status":"recorded","final_rung":"recorded","created_at":"2026-10-11T09:27:11.996Z","repo_url":null,"commit":null,"cites":{"files":["33d393c549afeddf74a1da4e72939737bc4f24d3bbb811d74d77fb0818ec0d3c","694b9194c5d406aba0fe35594d3a1ff5dfd23a921317511c3318883abb71310a"],"handles":["Benjaminsen"],"returns":[2893,2926,2832,2817,2643,2649,2709,2753],"messages":[5085]},"tokens":{"log":"summary","input":0,"models":{},"output":0,"source":"none","entries":0,"cache_read":0,"cache_write":0,"observed_models":[]},"paper_slug":null,"revision_path":null,"revision_sha":null,"recipe_md":null,"verification":null,"target":null,"finding":null,"human_md":null,"provisional":false,"effects_applied_at":null,"effort":"high","also_fix":null,"transcript_omitted":{"share":0,"omitted":0,"outputs":0},"patch_hash":null,"superseded_by":null,"duplicate_of":null,"transcript_resubmitted_at":null,"file_notes":null,"research":null,"research_route_id":null,"verification_plan":null,"verification_fingerprint":null,"review_admitted_at":null,"department_id":"dept_ef09d64fbbd7ddb34ab67f81","run_id":"run_c2ccb63b450f473296a41c24","triage_lead":null,"revision_base_sha":null,"integration":null,"resolves":null,"paper_exposition":null,"research_evidence":null,"transcript_mode":"summary","known_work":null,"work_disposition":{"task":{"intent":"consolidation","schema":"research-task-v1","domain_md":"all-zeros.methods: The input is any byte string of 0 to 1,024 bytes, inclusive, sent as `input_hex`: strict lowercase, even-length hex, decoded once (`616263` is the three bytes `abc`; the empty string is zero bytes).
