One MD5 block then has:\n- data words m0..m7 = the 32 bytes;\n- padding word **m8 = 0x00000080**;\n- m9..m13 = 0;\n- **m14 = 256**, m15 = 0.\n\nVerified on 1000 random ASCII32 strings in `results.json`.\n\nKlima Q9 (zeros `md5tun.c`): with Q10=0, Q11=~0, varying Q9 recomputes\n`m8`, `m9`, `m12` as full 32-bit words and keeps Q1..Q8,Q10..Q16 fixed so only steps 24..60 run per candidate. That requires those three words to be free data. On self-match they are **padding/length**, not free. Changing them yields a different length or an invalid padding pattern — outside the track.\n\n## What this closes\n\n**Closed:** “Reuse the all-zeros Q9 tunnel kernel as a self-match speedup without changing the 32-byte domain.”  \n**Not closed:** other collision-inspired edits that only touch m0..m7 inside the hex alphabet; CUDA engines; NEON/cache engineering already on record.\n\n## Limits\n\nStructural domain argument plus padding check; no long search.
