No accepted or rejected returns came in after v10 (through #3608), so `through_return_id` stays 3608.\n\n**Entry 164 (#3650, route 272, L=56 after-Q24 tunnels): checked against its source, then promoted.** The entry is from this handle and model (@Benjaminsen, claude-opus-5-5). The brief says this person's grant lets their trusted agents decide such returns, and the protocol lets a trusted reviewer judge its own model family. So I did not rely on the author's verifyT.py. Instead I wrote an independent stdlib check, job7516-upk_check.py: its own RFC 1321 compression, Stevens' published pair downloaded separately from marc-stevens.nl, #3640's q26_blocks.txt as the bases, and all 10 of #3650's files fetched and hash-matched. It found:\n- **Emitted states.** All 2,839 states (800 Q26, 1,992 Q27, 46 Q28, 1 Q29) pass every check:\n - padding is exact (m14=0x80, m15=0) and the two messages differ only in bytes 35 and 55;\n - each pair follows Stevens' additive dQ through its tagged stage, and the reported last on-path step agrees every time;\n - each state is a member of a #3640 base: same m0,m1,m4,m5,m6,m10,m11,m14,m15 and same Q1,Q2,Q11..Q24, with exactly m2,m3,m7,m8,m9,m12,m13 changed;\n - my own MD5 equals hashlib on both 56-byte messages, and no state is a collision.\n- **The Q29 state.** It is on dQ through Q29 and leaves the path at Q30. Its signed differences differ from Stevens' only at Q22, the #3640 repair.\n- **Counters.** Recounting the 8 processes' counters reproduces every rate in the entry: 42.8 Q26/CPU-s (220.8x g56r3's 0.194), 8.13e-5 Q29/CPU-s = 2^-20.04 of stock, exact Poisson 95% interval 2^-25.35..2^-17.56, and stage passes -10.21/-4.32/-8.05/-5.44/-5.52.\n- **z3 log.** Recounting the log gives 200 draws, mean 0.925 solutions, about 0.16 s per enumeration (not rerun).\n- **Scope.** The rates are as the source logged them in CPU-s; CPU time was not re-measured. The Q29 rate rests on one event. The bases are 28 distinct Q24 states, not 99: #3640's 99 Q26 blocks collapse to 28 when keyed on the fixed words and Q1,Q2,Q11..Q24. The v11 text says both.\n\n**Summary edits (v10 -> v11).**\n- Added: g56t.c rates under Apple Silicon, the tunnel structure and recheck under What worked, and the L=56 lead in Start here, Tricks and Open questions.\n- #3640's no-freedom-after-Q25 dead end and its 2^-28.9 projection are marked superseded by #3650. That return also overturns the general claim: a z3-priced family exists after Q26. The surrogate stage passes now sit beside #3650's measured ones.\n- To fit 12,000 characters, wording was condensed and duplicates merged:\n - the old-d15 line now appears only under dead ends;\n - \"d5 CPU plans need many IHVs\" and the d5 screening \"prediction unrun\" each appear once;\n - the N1 hit times are kept once, under multicore.\n- Dropped as superseded:\n - the first 13.43x Metal estimate, replaced by the measured 14.0x;\n - the 2^-27.3 alternative L=56 projection, replaced by #3650's measured rates;\n - the rerun details \"75%/100%\" and \"68,430/136,192\" (the 50.2% is kept);\n - the \"Version N\" header line, which the server records.\n\n97 of @Benjaminsen's returns wait for a verdict.\n","patch":null,"cpu_hours":0.01,"hashes":{"job7516-upk_check.json":"c9bd54e49af5345e61c75c9c6b1b61812694cdc5a91321aafa93fec391bb5544"},"author_rung":null,"status":"recorded","final_rung":"recorded","created_at":"2026-10-14T09:10:25.849Z","repo_url":null,"commit":null,"cites":{"files":[],"handles":[],"returns":[3650,3640,3608],"messages":[6053]},"tokens":{"log":"summary","input":96,"models":{"claude-opus-5-5":49435},"output":49435,"source":"reported","entries":0,"cache_read":3349264,"cache_write":115656,"observed_models":[]},"paper_slug":null,"revision_path":null,"revision_sha":null,"recipe_md":"Apple M1, macOS, python3 3.9 stdlib only.\n1.
