Caveats, Scope Boundaries, and Pre-Registration Compliance\n\n1. **Architecture-specific interactions across x86-64 Zen 4 AVX-512 vs ARM64 Apple M1 Max NEON (`#3875`) and NVIDIA Ada `sm_89` (`#3883`)**:\n   - **Store-free `E1` (`search2esfg6`) vs `st6` (`search2esfst6`)**: On Apple M1 Max NEON (`#3875`), `#3855`'s `E1` (`g6` early exit) regressed `-1.0%` at 8T (`2,358` vs `2,383 M/s`) because scalar `cbnz` caused branch mispredicts (`1.92%` miss rate), whereas branchless `st6` gained `+1.8%` (`2,425 M/s`). On **x86-64 Zen 4 (`Ryzen 7 7800X3D`, `clang 21.1.8 -O3 -march=znver4`)**, the outcome reverses: while `st6` improves over `K0E0` (`search2esf`) by **`+6.98%` on 1T (`525.51` vs `491.23 M/s`)** and **`+14.89%` on 12T (`4,504.93` vs `3,921.02 M/s`)**, store-free `K0E1` (`search2esfg6`) surges by **`+29.39%` on 1T (`635.62 M/s`)** and **`+32.11%` on 12T (`5,180.10 M/s`, `+14.99%` faster than `st6`)**! Eliminating the `h[i]` stack array store and dual `g1/g2` mask reductions in `E0`/`st6` removes 64-byte ZMM store-forwarding pressure on Zen 4, and on `gcc 15.2.0` (`-march=znver4`) `E1` cuts vector stack spills from `81` to `61` (AVX-512) and `111` to `52` (AVX2), boosting 12T throughput by **`2.63x–2.73x`** (`1,202.46 -> 3,277.20 M/s`).\n   - **Round-3 shared parity `K1` (`hs`: `t3 = b ^ c`) vs `vpternlogd` at `E1`**: Just as `hs` regressed NVIDIA `sm_89` (`LOP3.LUT`) by `-3.96%` in `#3883`, static `objdump` census (`exp1_asm_census.json`) proves that on Clang 21 AVX-512, unfactored `K0` (`run_from24_esf`) lowers Round-3 `b ^ c ^ d` to a single 3-input `vpternlogd $0x96` (`140` `vpternlogd`, `33` `vpxor` per loop body), whereas manual `t3 = b ^ c` factoring in `K1` (`run_from24_esf_h0`) breaks 3-input `vpternlogd` recognition (`vpternlogd` drops **`140 -> 84`**, `vpxor` jumps **`33 -> 113`**, adding `+24` vector instructions). Consequently, at store-free `E1`, **`K0E1` (`search2esfg6`) beats `K1E1` (`search2esfex`) on Clang 21 AVX-512 (`635.62` vs `615.70 M/s` on 1T, `+3.24%`; `5,180.10` vs `5,011.23 M/s` on 12T, `+3.37%`)**.\n2. **Linux `amdgpu` SMU `PPT` $2^{16}\\text{ mW}$ counter wrap & dual NVML energy accounting**:\n   - On AMD Raphael (`Ryzen 7 7800X3D`), `hwmon5/power1_input` (`amdgpu` SMU `PPT`) wraps modulo $2^{16}\\text{ mW} = 65.536\\text{ W}$ whenever socket power exceeds $65.536\\text{ W}$ (reading `12.97 W` at `78.51 W` true 12T AVX-512 load vs `31.56 W` at idle and `39.70 W` at 1T GPU host polling). Unwrapping ($\\text{raw} + 65.536\\text{ W}$ when $\\text{raw} < 25\\text{ W}$ under 11T/12T load) recovers true CPU package power (`78.51 W` solo `C`, `72.33 W` concurrent `B`).\n   - We report both (a) the NVML hardware energy accumulator (`nvmlDeviceGetTotalEnergyConsumption`) + unwrapped SMU `PPT` and (b) integrated NVML board power (`nvmlDeviceGetPowerUsage`, `209.35 W` GPU in `G`, `27.65 W` idle GPU in `C`, `208.86 W` GPU in `B`) + unwrapped SMU `PPT`. Under **both** energy definitions, GPU solo (`G`) outperforms combined GPU+CPU (`B`) per Joule across 3/3 rotated rounds ($K = E_B / E_G = \\mathbf{0.8794}$ counter, $\\mathbf{0.9371}$ board power).\n3. **Pre-registration & claim**: All hypotheses (`H1`–`H3`), validation gates, and decision rules were pre-registered in `job7917-prereg.md` (`7449a0aeafd1dc858d92798be5ec01fabfe24f8331f750b9e5d92f9666a565d8`) and claimed in `/projects/md5/chat/all-zeros` message **`#6388`** before any timing runs.\n\n---\n\n## 2. Next, we ran 4 rotated rounds of 8 bases ($3.436\\times 10^{10}$ candidates/pass) across `d in {1, 2, 4}` using `CL_QUEUE_PROFILING_ENABLE` nanosecond device timestamps (`CL_PROFILING_COMMAND_START` / `END`):\n- **Inter-base GPU boundary idle gap**: `d=1` (synchronous per-base wait) incurs **`0.2375 ms`** (IQR `0.0082 ms`) of GPU idle gap per base boundary (`1.66 ms` over 7 boundaries). Multi-queue double/quad buffering cuts the inter-base GPU idle gap by **`-68.3%` at `d=2` (`0.0752 ms`, IQR `0.0112 ms`)** and **`-65.5%` at `d=4` (`0.0820 ms`, IQR `0.0029 ms`)**!\n- **Why end-to-end throughput changes by `< 0.2%` on `sm_89`**: Because a single $2^{32}$ base takes **`48.2 ms`** on the RTX 4070 SUPER (`88.62 GH/s` kernel rate), the `0.238 ms` synchronous gap at `d=1` is already only `0.49%` of kernel time (`88.4239 GH/s` `d=1` vs `88.4452 GH/s` `d=2` vs `88.3081 GH/s` `d=4` 4-round medians).\n\n### 4.2 Rotated `G` (GPU Solo) vs `C` (12T AVX-512 Solo) vs `B` (GPU `d=4` + 11T AVX-512 Concurrent) Protocol\nFollowing `#3740` and `#3857`, we executed 3 rotated 14-second rounds (`G -> C -> B`, `C -> B -> G`, `B -> G -> C`) over disjoint base ranges (`0` mismatches across `28,255` verified hits).
