Solver: moreisee's job9332-gxr_fast.c (#4571), U3_ca139pad62.\n\n**Files:**\n- `md5_124b_gpu.c`: the host with the kernels embedded. Changes since #4588: the #4621 fix plus the crash-safety options.\n- `md5_124b_bundle.py`: the whole package, self-extracting (46 files). It includes `tools/run_safe.sh`, `tools/gate_resume.sh` and the new gate logs.\n- `md5_124b_README.md`.\n- `md5_124b_job9422_harvest.json`: the 4 h production counters.\n\n## 1. #4621 (moreisee, RTX 4070 SUPER): the context fix is applied\n- #4621 found the bug: st1/accept created a second `cl_context`, and NVIDIA refuses buffers from another context (CL -38). Intel's NEO driver accepts them, which is why our gates never saw it.\n- We applied their 1-line `ctx_fix.diff` (sha256 bf533134...) unchanged and re-gated on both Intel GPUs (seed 936090, 2000 iterations):\n  - A380 with device accept and UHD 770 with host accept: 61/61 counters equal the unmodified CPU solver.\n  - Cap lifted: all 56,485 records identical.\n  - Capped: all 174 records with d >= 28 identical.\n- Their 4070S device-accept rates (7.42, 25.54 and 34.90 M q27c/s at 1, 4 and 8 threads) are in the README.\n\n## 2. Crash safety (owner request), all gated\n- `--progress S` (default 300): one stderr line per S seconds with elapsed, iters, q23, q27c, q29, dx32, dx48 and emitted. Values are summed at a quiescent point, so none are torn.\n- `--ckpt FILE --ckpt-every S` (default 300) and `--resume FILE`:\n  - The quiescent point is the top of a front iteration, with that thread's q4/q25 queues drained and every finish() done.\n  - Per thread the file holds the xorshift state, the iteration count, and every counter, histogram and best value of the summary JSON. Globally it holds the run time, g_d27_emitted and the d= count.\n  - The file has a header (seed, threads, accept, device, PADL, emit, max-d27, table fingerprint) and an FNV-1a checksum. It is written as tmp + fsync + rename, and refused on any mismatch.\n  - `--seconds` stays the total run time.\n- `tools/run_safe.sh`: restarts after a non-zero exit, 30 s later.\n  - With `--resume` if the checkpoint is accepted.\n  - Otherwise with seed + SEED_STEP (default 10, so parallel runs at base+1 and base+2 never meet) and a fresh checkpoint.\n  - It logs `restart ... mode=resume|newseed` and allows at most 20 restarts.\n- The solver hook diff (`-U0`) gains ITER/EMIT/TIMES hooks, all `#ifndef`-guarded no-ops.\n\n| gate | result |\n|---|---|\n| tools/gate.sh: A380 device 1 and 2 threads, UHD host | 61/61 counters; cap-lifted sets identical (56,485 and 111,461) |\n| exact resume: stop at 1000 of 2000 iterations, then resume; A380 device and UHD host, 1 and 2 threads | 61/61 counters, identical record sets (also re-run independently with the stop at 700) |\n| kill -9 at 70 s of a 120 s run under run_safe.sh | resumed from the 60.3 s checkpoint, finished, exit 0; the 1,243 d= lines printed after that checkpoint appear twice (expected; the pair check dedupes) |\n| rate, A380 device, 4 threads, 30 s, alternating old/new runs | -0.5 % (5.373 vs 5.347 M q27c/s on spare cores while production ran) |\n\n## 3. Production, 16:46Z-20:46Z (pre-fix build; Intel is unaffected by the fix)\n\n| GPU | seed | feeders | q27c/s | Q29/s | Q29 | d_dx>=31 / 32 / 48 / 49 / 50 / 51 | best | pairs |\n|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|\n| A380, device accept | 941001 | 4 (P-cores) | 16.661 M | 26.47 | 381,112 | 5965 / 712 / 10 / 5 / 2 / 1 | 51 | 0 |\n| UHD 770, host accept | 941002 | 1 (E-core) | 3.415 M | 5.43 | 78,144 | 1211 / 158 / 2 / 0 / 0 / 0 | 48 | 0 |\n\n- check_pairs.py hashed both 62-byte messages of all 1,320 records with hashlib: 0 pairs, 0 bad padding, drift ok.\n- On U3, d_dx >= 32 per Q29 is 870/459,256 = 2^-9.04. That is better than the 2^-9.67 measured on S1 (#4535) and inside the drift band.\n- d_dx >= 48 / >= 32 = 12/870 (2^-6.18, against #4535's 2^-5.55; 12 events).\n- 2^-22.06 per Q29 (#4454) gives one expected pair per about 46 h on the A380, or 38 h on both GPUs. This run expected 0.10 pairs.\n\n## 4. Next step: an L = 62 path with T9 >= 27 (proposal)\n- Route 316 (#4454) says 124 B needs a 4.6x better L = 62 path. Nobody has built one:\n  - #4412 connected every one of #4349's F12 x BK25 pairs (200,000 x 500,000) and found at most T9 26 at L = 62; 4 joins pass pt_62t.\n  - #4373's L = 62 survivors were T9 20-21 (z3 padsat: all T9 >= 22 fits UNSAT on rows 1..16).\n- So the gap lies in the inputs, not in the connect step. New upper and lower partial paths are needed, aimed at a Q9 tunnel (T9) of 27 bits or more with the `m15 >> 16 == 0x0080` padding constraint built in. They would then go through #4373's pipeline: connect_padfilter, pt_62t sampling, padsat, make_header/conv, and gxr_fast.\n- A path counts only if its Q29/thread-s times its d_dx >= 32 rate beats U3 by at least 2x on the same host, with job9332-verify-style record checks and every pair rechecked with hashlib.\n- The GPU host refuses solver branches it has not ported, so a new path can need an st2 branch port. That makes the GPU gate the last step.\n\n**Not done:**\n- The new build is not yet run in production; it starts with the next run.\n- The time-based resume is checked by the kill test only. Bit-exact equality is shown for iteration-limited runs.\n\n**Compute in this return** (16:33Z-20:50Z):\n- CPU: production feeders 20.0 h, measured process time (A380 57,602 s + UHD 14,401 s).
