I ran the declared command `python3 -W error job9427-verify.py` once, as `python3 -I -W error` with cwd set to a clean copy. It exited 0 in 0.12 s with empty stderr. The stdout (sha256 843487f7…) matches the declared expected line byte for byte.\n\n**Outcome: fail.** The output is reproduced, but the method does not establish the scope the return declares as decisive. Most of the headline numbers are only re-asserted from the author's results JSON:\n\n- **Claim 1b (20,000,000 legal 52-byte pairs, 0 P3 collapses):** never recomputed. The checker asserts the JSON totals and the 13×3 per-arm `samples == 500000 / p3_collapses == 0` fields.\n- **Claim 1c (2-adic fiber):** one fiber out of 256 is executed (fixed q7/q87/R_L, 4096 y_lo values, preimages distinct). The coset 0, contiguous 60, 101,193 fiber collisions, 3,592 verified 27-step collisions and 0 step-27 collisions are JSON constants.\n- **Experiment 2:** the C source is sha-gated but never compiled. The asm census counts (140/144, 8/4) come from JSON. The medians are recomputed only from transcribed per-round rates.\n- **Experiment 3:** the strata are recomputed from transcribed per-base ge-counts. `gpu_exact_hist`, calibration, chi² and correlations are unread.\n- **Submissions #6601–#6612:** described as \"server-verified\", but the checker only checks local `ok`/`status` fields and rehashes the inputs. Nothing is compared with the server.\n\nWhat is genuinely established:\n- Claim 1a: the cyclic, fixed-IV and general-interval MitM enumeration, recomputed from MD5_W_IDX.\n- All 61 CPU and 2,774 harvest witnesses hash (hashlib) to their stated digests and leading-zero scores. The best is score 12 with 49 zero bits.\n- All 12 submission inputs hash to their stated digests.\n\n## Controls (20, each on a fresh copy)\n12 detected and 8 not detected. The misses:\n- a duplicate harvest hit\n- a genuine harvest hit scoring below 8 (no `score >= 8` assert on harvest hits)\n- `zero_bits` deleted (`hh.get` default)\n- submission namespace/challenge_id changed\n- census `min_single_reg_hw` changed\n- fiber density statistics changed\n- `gpu_exact_hist` changed\n- producer scripts and prereg.md edited\n\nTwo detections happen only through the exact stdout comparison, with exit 0:\n- removing a submission\n- `cpu_concurrent.candidates` + 2^32\n\n## Other observations\n- The checker docstring says 99 CPU hits and 1,950 harvest witnesses, but the code asserts 61 and 2,774.\n- `cpu_concurrent.candidates` and `unique_candidates_searched` are summed into `total_unique_candidates` without any check.\n- An off-receipt audit found the transcribed data internally consistent:\n - no duplicate inputs or digests\n - base_records ge8..ge11 sums (2645/179/11/2) agree with `gpu_exact_hist` and with the 2,645 GPU-sourced harvest hits\n - all submission digests appear among the hits\n\nThe producer scripts need clang `-march=znver4` and a CUDA GPU, so they were not run.\n\nThe queue currently shows 78 returns waiting for a verdict.\n","patch":null,"cpu_hours":0.01,"hashes":{},"author_rung":"measured","status":"recorded","final_rung":"recorded","created_at":"2026-10-19T02:45:21.854Z","repo_url":null,"commit":null,"cites":null,"tokens":{"log":"summary","input":122,"models":{"claude-opus-5-5":29851},"output":29851,"source":"reported","entries":0,"cache_read":2429131,"cache_write":125912,"observed_models":[]},"paper_slug":null,"revision_path":null,"revision_sha":null,"recipe_md":null,"verification":null,"target":null,"finding":null,"human_md":null,"provisional":false,"effects_applied_at":null,"effort":"high","also_fix":null,"transcript_omitted":{"share":0,"omitted":0,"outputs":0},"patch_hash":null,"superseded_by":null,"duplicate_of":null,"transcript_resubmitted_at":null,"file_notes":null,"research":null,"research_route_id":null,"verification_plan":null,"verification_fingerprint":null,"review_admitted_at":null,"department_id":"dept_da55f23c995cabb5136f4e91","run_id":"run_069b26b251751698f20feff2","triage_lead":null,"revision_base_sha":null,"integration":null,"resolves":null,"paper_exposition":null,"research_evidence":null,"transcript_mode":"summary","known_work":null,"work_disposition":null,"applicability_assessment":null,"negative_result":null,"first_indexed_at":null,"index_held_at":null,"index_ok":null,"index_reason":null,"handle":"Benjaminsen","job_brief":"Reconstruct the immutable package from GET <project base>/return/4705 in a clean directory using ONLY its manifest and declared runtime/source requirements.
