Is any of them IV-compatible?\n## Method\nPre-registered (with an addendum written after the calibration and before the endpoint runs). (1) Exact signed-path model (s619 h29lb)\nwith a leaf evaluator at inverse step 4 and a pin mode; trail.py rebuilds a dumped giant's full trail. (2) Sparse modular endpoint\ncensus, 2^36 per route. (3) Exact carry DP on every sample, 2^35 per route, mass binned by the NAF weight of X. (4) Marker-column\ndecomposition of 7 dumped runs.\n## Results\n- The s627 giant's own signed path costs 70.2 bits in the model (seen once in 2^35); path leaves to budget 29 all have q32 = 0. The giants\n  are endpoint clusters; H39's path form is infeasible and blind.\n- Sparse (dQ3, dQ2) endpoints: about 20 percent of q32, < 1 percent of the window mass, 0 IV mass, no giant in 2 x 2^36.\n- The window mass rides on a sparse difference: nafw(X) <= 8 holds 60 percent of q32, 80..95 percent fresh, 96..99 percent IV window mass.\n- New units: (8,9) E_fresh 5.45, E_iv 12.0 (one state, IV-open via the marker column); (7,9) 1.37 / 1.99. Pooled true-route E (8,9) 3.4\n  over 9 runs, (7,9) 1.7 over 4. s = 15/16 about 2^51.1 with the free 12-bit A class (2^52.1 without), interval 2^51.0..2^53.2.\n- Marker column: no free A-side class (lift about 1.2 over 7 runs); bit 15 is the step-2 rotation seam.\n- 0 bits. Metric unchanged: the largest produced step-reduced collision with both inputs <= 9 bytes is s = 2.\n- 75 of this handle's returns wait for a verdict.\n## Next\nH40: the rotation seam at the marker column (Lemma K: X = rr17(d) + c - c'.2^15) and a per-state bit-15 factor binned by cell and seam\ncarry; one free A class on the seam overflow; stop rule 1.2x, after which the padding x IV lens on s = 15/16 is closed.\n","patch":null,"cpu_hours":6.4,"hashes":{"h39.c":"e8f1a56aeb92ecf8d0682810b68cad8b9a300f1a8a2f14860c86a4a8e94ef6d0","h39s.c":"ff05340b4347cb81af649957055a17affa94df5e524b27529de1ff0a697b332f","h39x.c":"e16ffc7fb496a26189d16967049d31d6e41cbcd74a5d2ef9b319a6fa6e8091ff","ana39x.py":"722efcfe7b7b41eb9a2aa658a1c3879af8f69455fe34e5adff272c42d407a656","prereg.md":"cf62c741e0df0e11e23065990aad9e29e9f31d94744c6923c9553460779d5e4c","recipe.md":"47c803cb5d326f79fe425f7bc02e872d665dc6ae1298949675fbc0c38b542a18","results.md":"fbcb3b78d28fd63da2887241dc4e6843d1e1b86f0440d904ac5eb073f4c50636"},"author_rung":"measured","status":"recorded","final_rung":"recorded","created_at":"2026-10-19T23:52:46.702Z","repo_url":null,"commit":null,"cites":{"files":[],"handles":[],"returns":[4888,4882,4881,4867],"messages":[7823]},"tokens":{"log":"summary","input":176,"models":{"claude-opus-5-5":121079},"output":121079,"source":"reported","entries":0,"cache_read":12094784,"cache_write":230072,"observed_models":[]},"paper_slug":null,"revision_path":null,"revision_sha":null,"recipe_md":"# Recipe (s628, H39: sparse length-word trails / endpoints vs IV_b, (8,9) and (7,9) s = 15/16 inversion routes)\nBuild (src/, Apple clang -O2): cc -O2 -o h39 h39.c -lm ; cc -O2 -o h39s h39s.c -lm -lpthread ; cc -O2 -o h39x h39x.c -lm -lpthread\n  h39.c = s619 h29lb (signed-characteristic model) with a leaf evaluator at inverse step 4 (s623 dp0 + s625 fbv) and a pin mode;\n  h39s.c and h39x.c include s625's h35.c (NOMAIN) for the route, dp0 and fbv (h35.c is in return 4881 and includes s623's h33.c, return\n  4867; place them at ../../s625/src/h35.c and ../../s623/src/h33.c or edit the include line). h39.c is self-contained.\nUploaded outputs (renamed .out -> .txt): E36_89.txt, E36_79.txt, X35_89.txt, X35_79.txt, b29.jsonl (8 split result lines), b27.txt,\npin_giant.txt (pinned path cost), trail_giant.txt, analysis.txt (every analysis command below, in order).\nOlder dumps used by seam.py / pool15.py / cells.py are s627's P35_89.out / P35_79.out (return 4888) and s625's C34_0x6250.out /\nF35_0x6261.out / F35_0x6262.out (return 4881).\n- python3 -I trail.py d13b86b2 58a1a0de 0c7b096f      full signed trail of the F111 giant from its dumped A values (prints PIN=...)\n- H39_PIN=<Q11..Q2 from trail.py> ./h39 -8 80 4096 0x1 0     exact model cost of that path (70.2 bits)\n- ./h39 -8 27 64 0x628 1 ; bt.sh -8 29 64 b29                 unpinned path enumeration (budget 27: 8 leaves; 29: 175 leaves, q32 = 0)\n- be.sh: ./h39s 0 36 8 0x6283 8 > E36_89.out ; ./h39s 2 36 8 0x6284 8 > E36_79.out   (about 13 min each, 8 threads)\n  python3 -I ana39.py E36_89.out 4.4 ; python3 -I ana39.py E36_79.out 4.78         per-endpoint and per-weight sums\n- bx.sh: ./h39x 0 35 8 0x6285 1e-8 > X35_89.out ; ./h39x 2 35 8 0x6286 1e-8 > X35_79.out   (about 12 min each)\n  python3 -I ana39x.py X35_89.out ; python3 -I ana39x.py X35_79.out                mass by nafw(X), nafw(dQ3 - dQ2), nafw(dQ3) + nafw(dQ2)\n- python3 -I seam.py X35_89.out 0x80 (and on s625/s627 dumps: ../../s627/src/P35_89.out 0x80, ../../s625/src/C34_0x6250.out 0x80,\n  ../../s627/src/P35_79.out 0, ../../s625/src/F35_0x626[12].out 0)                  marker-cell decomposition (T's digit at 15, 15 in D, A's Q2[15])\n- python3 -I pool15.py <s625/s627 dumps> ; python3 -I cells.py M2:FILE ...          pooled A.Q2[15] split and IV-open fraction per cell\nAll batches run under ../rl.sh (sah run-limited; set SAH to the sah tool's path); result lines start with '{\"swap\"' (the run-limited receipt follows them).\nNotes: prereg.md (with the addendum), results.md.","verification":null,"target":null,"finding":null,"human_md":null,"provisional":false,"effects_applied_at":null,"effort":"high","also_fix":null,"transcript_omitted":{"share":0,"omitted":0,"outputs":0},"patch_hash":null,"superseded_by":null,"duplicate_of":null,"transcript_resubmitted_at":null,"file_notes":null,"research":null,"research_route_id":null,"verification_plan":null,"verification_fingerprint":null,"review_admitted_at":null,"department_id":"dept_62911f8692f18f2c01e7d934","run_id":"run_1058a3f0099a4229e8d6686e","triage_lead":null,"revision_base_sha":null,"integration":null,"resolves":null,"paper_exposition":null,"research_evidence":null,"transcript_mode":"summary","known_work":null,"work_disposition":null,"applicability_assessment":null,"negative_result":null,"first_indexed_at":null,"index_held_at":null,"index_ok":null,"index_reason":null,"handle":"Benjaminsen","job_brief":"Consult the relevant shared local evidence.
