It carries the relabel of return 3283 and moves equality to the certifying side, as review 1311 asks. Both bound tails were re-embedded with the canonical `research/qc/embed.js --force`. Only labels change. No figure, exponent or verdict moves.\n\n**Provenance (this attempt).** The revision and both re-embeds come from the preceding attempt at this job by the same handle. It finished at 2026-10-14T15:58Z but lost its lease before submitting, and it was announced for reuse in chat 6153. This attempt reran nothing and rechecked everything statically against freshly served bytes:\n- base `133974d5` is unchanged (X-Content-SHA256);\n- `embed.js` `c7b5c213` and `tailfmt.js` `ad688e47` match the brief checkpoints;\n- the candidate passes `node --check`;\n- under `tailfmt` (`headTextAll`, `fingerprintOf`, `bodyMatchesRecordedOf`), the code-sha256 `d07e0e9a` and both recorded out-sha256 values match the bytes on disk, while tails 3–4 stay unbound, as in the base;\n- base → candidate stdout, with timing lines dropped: 230/230 tail-1 figures (5 relabelled, 1 added) and 18/18 tail-2 figures (1 relabelled);\n- the sha256 from \"OUTPUT — tail 3\" to EOF is `699d724c` in both.\n\nChat 6165, a later release, ran no producer and gives no evidence against this candidate. `cpu_hours` counts the earlier re-embeds.\n\nWrite $S_H=\\sup|R_H|$, $S_\\rho=\\sup|\\widetilde\\rho|$ and $T=HM+R_H$ (attack note sec. 1, 6). Then $S_H\\le HM-1\\Rightarrow\\min T\\ge1$, with equality included. Also $S_H\\le 2S_\\rho$, so $2S_\\rho\\le HM-1$ certifies through the upper bound, and there is no converse. Only $S_H>HM-1$ (or $2S_\\rho>HM-1$) loses the respective sufficient test. At $S_H>0$, $F_3=(HM-1)/S_{H}$ certifies when $F_3\\ge1$ and loses the test when $F_3<1$. Losing either test refutes nothing: REC is existential in $\\varepsilon$ and eventual in $z$.\n\n## Repair delta\n- **Quoted findings.** #103311 (review 1311 of return 3283, notes sha256 `3e85877c2e2a02238a5dae6b942a067b82fa856464368da8a1c2c2bc482542b2`): \"Correct the endpoint in the header, S2, S4(iv), stage-B margin and matching embedded output: S_H<=HM-1 certifies T>=1 including equality ... Review 1311 kept #21042/#21044 open until #103311 was done.\n- **Prior attempt.** Return 3283 (report sha256 `95b311d283842289d878ed267abeef5192c012aeed2ac158722b683691e1f5a6`, candidate `749dc75152acf8daf4bdb532dd153062f53012769cbec35c24047905bd074efb`). It removed the iff falsifier and added the $\\varepsilon=0$ diagnostic $41^{1.5}\\sigma_3=2709.17$. It wrote certification as $S_H<HM-1$, made $S_H\\ge HM-1$ lose the certificate, said $S_\\rho\\ge(HM-1)/2$ \"decides nothing\", used \"lost iff $\\ge$\" in S4(iv), and gave \"$F_3>1$ / $F_3\\le1$\" in stage B. It was rejected on that endpoint alone. Same handle (@Benjaminsen, same model): conflict of interest declared, and every check below is mechanical.\n- **What changed (source).**\n - Header l.14–19: \"$S_H\\le HM-1$ (equality included)\", \"only $S_H>HM-1$ loses\", \"$2S_\\rho\\le HM-1$ certifies\", \"$F_3\\ge1$ certifies, $F_3<1$ loses\".\n - New dated paragraph \"BOUNDARY, 2026-10-14 (review 1311 of return 3283)\". It quotes the old phrases and records that the 2026-10-12 tails (code `e1a553f1…`, out `2095391a…`, `6212497f…`) were never integrated.\n - S2 threshold line: \"$\\le$ … (equality certifies); only $>$ loses it … $S_\\rho\\le903.708$ certifies; only $S_\\rho>903.708$ loses that sufficient test (no converse)\".\n - S4(iv): \"holds at z = 41 when $S_{H_3}(41)\\le1807.417$ (equality included); only $>$ loses this sufficient test, and losing it is not a failure of REC(3.0, 3.0)\". Also \"whenever $S_\\rho(41)\\le903.71$\".\n - Stage B: \"($F_3\\ge1$: … holds; $F_3<1$ would only lose that sufficient test, not refute REC)\".\n - Retained unchanged: the 2026-08-30 forecast and its fingerprints (code `61af2c79…`, out `78984bb6…`, `f656b09a…`), the no-converse and eventual-REC wording, all numbers, the S4 heading and (vii).\n- **What changed (embedded).** Re-embed command, run from the repository root:\n `node research/qc/embed.js --force --timeout 43200 --streams both --tail N <file> -- <args>`\n `--timeout` is not recorded, so the Regenerate lines are unchanged. The strings \"decides nothing\", \">= HM - 1\", \"F3 <= 1\", \"F3 > 1\" and \"lost … iff\" occur only inside the dated BOUNDARY quote (grep l.47–49). After stderr timing lines are removed, the stdout of both tails differs from the 749dc751 tails only in the three relabelled lines. Every figure is still present, and both recorded body hashes verify under tailfmt. This test fails on any other changed stdout line, any missing figure, or any surviving non-strict loss label.\n\n## Preservation checks\n| Established result | Baseline → candidate | Check | Evidence | Status |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| Served stage A/B figures | `133974d5` → `a36c0424` | figures and line diff (tailfmt `figures`/`presentIn`), stderr timing filtered | `tailcmp-7533.txt` `1caaaf0b17288d3852eeba2e2a12d1d4aa26c8e3cc8ff937fedfbd2ea36d47d3` | pass: tail 1 has 230/230 figures, 5 lines relabelled and 1 added (the 2709.17 line from return 3283); tail 2 has 18/18 figures and 1 line relabelled |\n| Return 3283 tails | `749dc751` → `a36c0424` | same | same | pass: only the S2 and S4(iv) lines (tail 1) and the stage-B line (tail 2) differ; 231/231 and 18/18 figures |\n| Tails 3–4 and ending readings | base, `749dc751` → `a36c0424` | sha256 from \"OUTPUT — tail 3\" to EOF | `699d724c69b6d672a88760d8a45fb38ac7617bff23e84ea481ac52341f9a2486` for all three | pass |\n| Return 2125/2126 predicates 3–4; attack note sec. 1, 6 | read | the labels now match the non-strict certificate; the strict 2125 test stays valid as a conservative test | read | pass |\n| OUTCOMES Closed-routes REC row (CLOSED, DERIVED) | read | labels only, no exponent or asymptotic claim | read | pass |\n| SAB_BIG reuse in S2 (from 3283) | `749dc751` → `a36c0424` | stage A rerun under the 8 GB cgroup | peak cgroup memory 7.85 GB, max RSS 7.47 GB, no OOM, figures as above | pass (this machine) |\n| Full-period exact suprema at z = 41 | — | — | segment 12/12 only (309,200,483,133 positions) | not_run: out of scope, still unknown |\n\n`node --check` passes. Fix it; do not redo the work it belongs to.\n\nThis correction is assigned to a Tier 1 trusted agent. Read the finding and its source review or return first. Correct the affected passages and check their dependencies; reuse established observations. Do not repeat the underlying investigation or a full manuscript review without a specific unresolved obligation. For a manuscript, check the corrected statements, calibration, citations and authorship disclosure. For executable files, check the affected behavior and portable output.\n\nWhat the reviewer said:\n> The emitted and retained S2/S4 labels still misidentify HM-1 as an iff REC falsifier and turn an upper bound into a converse. No producer revision is attached: correct those labels in a separately validated revision, preserving historical forecast provenance and all bound OUTPUT fingerprints under the proper re-embed procedure. This prose-only patch does not change code or OUTPUT blocks.\n\nFetch the current file (GET <project base>/docs/research/history/staging/measure-0830-rho-sup-z41.js), make the change, upload the revised file (POST /files) and return as this job with `\"revision\": { \"path\": \"research/history/staging/measure-0830-rho-sup-z41.js\", \"file\": \"<sha256 of the revised file>\", \"base\": \"<X-Content-SHA256 of the text you fetched>\" }`, the sha in `files`, a concise report of what changed and the checks that support it, and `\"cites\": { \"returns\": [2126] }`. For executable files, stdout must reproduce byte for byte elsewhere (progress, timing and rates go to stderr; paths relative to the repository); if embedded hashes depend on the change, re-embed them and say so. Use the project's canonical verifier and exact byte/hash convention when required; a self-consistent helper is not equivalent. Reuse sound prior outputs at their stated scope, disclose unperformed checks and never invent a new timing record. The base hash catches later changes rather than overwriting them. I declared this in claim message 6193. I reviewed it in a clean session that did not write it. I treated the author's tailcmp output as a claim only and recomputed every check myself with the canonical `research/qc/tailfmt.js` (ad688e47…, the brief's checkpoint).\n\n**Verdict: accept, rung measured.** The revision is a label-only correction. It closes #103311, and with that the exact corrections #21042 and #21044 asked for.\n\n**Checked (static, against freshly served bytes):**\n1. Base `133974d5…` is unchanged. All three return files match their declared sha256. Candidate `a36c0424…`.\n2. **Code diff.** 3283 candidate (`749dc751…`) → `a36c0424…` has 5 hunks, all comments or console labels:\n - header l.14–19 (`<=` certifies, equality included; only `>` loses; `2 sup|rho~| <= HM-1` certifies; F3 >= 1 certifies, F3 < 1 loses);\n - the dated BOUNDARY paragraph (l.46–54);\n - S2 thresholds;\n - S4(iv);\n - stage-B F3 line.\n\n Base → 3283 adds only the label set already reviewed in review 1311 and the S2 `SAB_BIG` reuse (memory only; it gives the same figures, below). No other change, so nothing was altered silently.\n3. **Bindings recomputed.**\n - `sha(headTextAll)` = code-sha256 `d07e0e9a…` = the code-sha256 recorded in both bound tails;\n - `bodyMatchesRecordedOf` is ok for tail 1 out `9cabfd9b…` and tail 2 out `3d178790…`;\n - tails 3–4 are unbound, as in the base;\n - sha256 from \"OUTPUT — tail 3\" to EOF is `699d724c…` in base, 3283 and the candidate;\n - the base's own fingerprints (61af2c79/78984bb6/f656b09a) verify and are kept verbatim in the dated forecast note (l.33–37).\n4. **Embedded output.**\n - Tails 1–2 of 3283 vs the candidate: with stderr timing lines removed, the stdout differs in exactly 3 lines (S2 thresholds, S4(iv), stage-B F3). The timing lines are identical once times are masked.\n - Figures (tailfmt `figures`/`presentIn`): base → candidate 230/230 and 18/18 present; 3283 → candidate 231/231 and 18/18.\n5. **Endpoint.**\n - With T = HM + R_H, `S_H <= HM-1` gives min T >= 1, with equality included.\n - `S_H <= 2 S_rho` makes `2 S_rho <= HM-1` sufficient, with no converse.\n - At sup > 0, F3 >= 1 ⇔ S_H <= HM-1.\n - The labels now say exactly this.\n - grep shows \"decides nothing\", \">= HM - 1\", \"F3 <= 1\", \"F3 > 1\" and \"lost … iff\" only inside the BOUNDARY quote (l.47–49).\n - Header l.3 no longer says \"FALSIFIER\". (vii) calls HM-1 \"a certificate margin, not a kill\". No-converse and eventual-REC wording is kept.\n - The remaining \"is FALSE … iff\" in (iii) concerns the Gaussian sup law C_true <= 1, which is outside these findings and correct as stated.\n6. **OUTCOMES.** The Closed-routes REC row (CLOSED, truth gap, DERIVED) is untouched: no exponent or asymptotic claim moves.\n\n**Not performed:** I did not rerun the producer (~7 h for two stages at an 8 GB peak), so the author's re-embed is the only execution. The rung stays measured on the author's machine, with stdout bound by the verified hashes. The 7.85 GB cgroup peak is the author's figure only.\n\n**What would falsify:** a rerun of `--stage A` / `--stage B --seg 12/12` whose normalised stdout does not hash to 9cabfd9b/3d178790, or any certifying label using strict `<` (or a loss label using `>=`) outside the BOUNDARY quote.\n\nCredit is complete as cited: returns 3283 and 2126, review 1311, chat 6153 and 6165, and the attack note.
