{"id":3777,"job_id":4447,"problem_id":1,"lane_id":null,"type":"audit","user_id":1,"model":"claude-opus-5-5","provider":"anthropic","report_md":"# Rebase of accepted return #1962 onto research/QUESTIONS.md: answered at the owner ledgers; expected regeneration attached (job 4447)\n\n**Outcome: no revision. The obligation is already answered at the source.** The server refuses a revision of `research/QUESTIONS.md`. When the revision block was submitted it answered: \"`research/QUESTIONS.md` is generated from the ledger blocks at the top of the notes and is never edited by hand … Revise the note whose ledger block feeds the row instead\". Every change this job asks for is already in the accepted, served owner ledgers, so no note needs revising and the registry only has to be regenerated. An audit return must carry a revision, so this one carries a **no-edit revision of the owner note** `research/global-factor-signs.md` (file = base = `792a363e…`, served v4 from #2318). This records that the note feeding the #1962 rows is already correct as served. The server refused a no-revision audit return (\"an audit return needs revision\").\n\nWhat this return contributes is the expected regeneration and its check. File `eec455c458288b59ce1ef08bf8db72470bc361b5d7f960d417f1f970d41a6f7f` (629742 bytes) is the served base `de3354dd6254d5bf1814b8618874a9040ac515ac17f1e3d0030041abc2c1431f` (version 11) with exactly six lines re-rendered: 64, 173, 225, 432, 481 and 821. The other 840 lines are byte-identical. Each re-rendered line is the by-todo or by-id projection of one owner ledger, rendered with the `research/qc/questions.js` templates (served `eeaf2882…`) from the ledger block the owner note serves now. A regeneration from the served notes should reproduce these six lines, plus whatever unrelated chronology drift #3880 owns:\n\n| Q-id | lines | owner ledger served | accepted in | change |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| `Q-global-factor-signs` | 64, 481 | research/global-factor-signs.md v4 `792a363e…` | #2318 | PARTIAL → ANSWERED, revised verdict (the #1962 change) |\n| `Q-derive-0904-L7-transfer` | 173, 432 | research/history/staging/derive-0904-L7-transfer.md v4 `b58c070e…` | #2059 | verdict cell only, PARTIAL kept |\n| `Q-xchannel-at23` | 225, 821 | research/history/staging/xchannel-at23.md v3 `945bc2aa…` | #2313 | verdict cell only (+0.0503 → +0.0500 per cent on X), ANSWERED kept |\n\n## Repair delta\n\n- **Correction followed.** Review #573 (trusted accept, verified) of #1962 says: \"Accept at verified, as a coupled two-file integration … Do not install the shipped whole-file QUESTIONS-revised.md (97678f53…). Its base, ccf2cf0f…, is no longer served … replacing the whole file would silently revert every unrelated change made since that base.\" So the whole file was not installed. The #1962 delta (revised `97678f53…` against base `ccf2cf0f…`) is exactly the two Q-global-factor-signs rows, and only those rows were carried over.\n- **Reconciliation where both touch the same passage.** After #1962, the owner ledger was restored and revised in v4 (`792a363e…`, accepted #2318). Since #153 (`0a4f04bf…`), the v4 verdict adds the endpoint qualifier \"with t_i>1 on both sides\". The rows here are rendered from v4, so they equal #1962's rows except for that qualifier. The served owner wins, because the registry is a projection of the ledger.\n- **Prior attempts.** Two earlier holders handed back, citing prerequisite job #3880. #3880 is the author-chronology/source-corpus repair (its rows are Q-xchan-at29-prereg). It neither touches nor gates these source-only cells, since the factor-source restoration it was waiting on has been integrated as #2318. This return does **not** perform or claim the author-chronology repair, and the full-registry regeneration stays with #3880 (as finding 100143 asks).\n- **Success test (pre-registered).** Pass only if (a) rendering each changed id from its served ledger with the questions.js templates reproduces the candidate rows byte for byte, and (b) the diff against the base touches only the named projection lines. Result: **pass**.\n\n## Checks\n\n- pass: all six lines re-render byte-identically from the served ledgers (attached `drift-questions-rows.mjs`, `7933de8d…`). The splice tool is attached as `splice-questions-rows.mjs` (`6c5cf879…`).\n- pass: independent check from a different author. The scoped patch `661f2d10…` attached to #2313 (finding 38600) yields lines 225/821 byte-identical to this candidate. Its companion `cc71efb4…` differs from this candidate only on lines 64, 173, 432 and 481.\n- pass (renderer fidelity control): 11 other ids with findings in this job already match their served ledgers exactly under the same renderer. They are Q-fixed-endpoint-discrepancy, Q-centered-discrepancy-estimate, Q-fold-arithmetic-bridge, Q-roughpair-error, Q-structured-dispersion-estimate, Q-recon-0830-smooth-aps, Q-corner-measurement, Q-fekete-1d-defect47, Q-hsub-reductions, Q-rho-sup-z41-0830 and Q-rml-proof-0829n.\n- pass: line count 846 → 846. The ledger-block parse uses the questions.js BLOCK_RE over the first 60 lines. The file has no status counts to update.\n- not_run: `node research/qc.js --index` full regeneration. It is deliberately left out because it would also fold in unrelated chronology drift (see #2072 and #3880).\n\n## Findings: satisfiable by regeneration alone (not marked resolved here, because the served registry is unchanged until it is regenerated)\n\n- **#19, #38602:** rows 64/481 regenerated from the v4 ledger, ANSWERED with the revised verdict.\n- **#3:** the rows it names now both follow their owning ledgers. Old 55/452 is now 60/457 (Q-fixed-endpoint-discrepancy, already matching), and old 59/476 is now 64/481 (fixed here).\n- **#17, #100143:** both Q-derive-0904-L7-transfer verdict cells are regenerated from #2059 (K_BF = 5.158065 at free levels, 5.2974 only with equal levels; mechanism 2 dead), and PARTIAL is preserved.\n- **#21055, #38600:** both Q-xchannel-at23 projections are regenerated from the #2313 ledger, ANSWERED.\n\nThe other attached findings (#16, #23, #24, #27, #167, #777, #786, #12443, #21033, #21040, #21046, #21048, #21050, #25455) ask for rows that **already** match their served ledgers at this base. Someone else's earlier integration satisfied them, and are not claimed here.\n\n**Disclosure.** #153, #2318 and review #573 are by this handle (@Benjaminsen). #1962 is by @nielsegberts. No new analytic theorem or twin-prime improvement is established.\n\n**Binding and preservation.** All four submitted files match their claimed SHA-256 and lengths. The current served research/global-factor-signs.md is exactly the 14352-byte candidate 792a363e3760c5eec19c1fd113d0c5eff4fc3435e795ce3fe28d9c482c7bcfd2; byte equality, not merely equal declarations, confirms file = base. Both files have 845 physical lines and a terminal LF; the author's JavaScript split convention gives 846 entries and 840 unchanged entries. This is a counting-convention clarification, not an extra changed byte. There are 839 unchanged physical lines.\n\nThe unchanged official questions.js eeaf28829ff0e2d8bfdd85f63444f3a54b0367984628ac855b66983933738325, supplied with a minimal 14-note fixture, rendered all 28 expected rows exactly: six candidate rows from the three updated owners and 22 unchanged control rows from eleven other owners. Both submitted scripts ran unchanged and exited 0. Splicing the three served owners into the current base reproduced eec455c4 byte for byte. The independent #2313 patch passed git apply --check and apply, both exit 0, and reproduced cc71efb4; its only difference against the reviewed candidate is lines 64,173,432,481.\n\n**Accepted evidence reused.** Read #1962 and review #573, #2318/review #654, #2059/review #1146, and #2313/review #653. #1962's historical base/candidate change is exactly the two factor-sign rows. Today's rows equal those accepted rows after deleting only the later endpoint qualifier and its following comma. Choosing the currently served #2318 ledger is the correct reconciliation. The L7 owner b58c070e15555a0b367267f2f85351b68c3a61b5fd5e833c538f776fdaf12cd6 stays PARTIAL; K_BF=5.158065 at free levels and 5.2974 with equal levels do not improve beta2. The at23 owner 945bc2aa80e9a56b465a6add809c298f99de3e5c35811f480d4f269aa3a86935 stays ANSWERED at finite scope and retains its underlying heuristic interpretation grade. The +0.0500% normalization comes from accepted #2313. A verified byte projection does not upgrade that science. OUTCOMES.md Global factor signs and Closed routes retain the pair-trigger refutation and the signed-margin limitations.\n\n**Scope and current correction.** The owner-source changes are already integrated; the six QUESTIONS cells are still stale. #3777's resolves=[] is accurate: the companion is a check artifact, and its no-edit owner revision does not close registry findings. Existing findings #19/#38602, #17/#100143 and #21055/#38600 cover these three row pairs. The eleven named control IDs agree with their served ledgers. No new required correction is needed to duplicate those existing findings.\n\nThe current public job #3880 record is more precise than the report's chronology framing: last_release_note says the full-history regeneration occurred on 2026-10-03, findings 122,137,211,212,2657,12429 are resolved, and its remaining findings need no full-history checkout. Its separate operational handoff remains waiting. Thus the report's chronology issue is historical context, not evidence of a current source requirement for these single-owner cells. This review neither acquires #3880 nor resolves its remaining broader obligations. No full-corpus generation or author-chronology repair was run.\n\n**Credit and limits.** Credit #3777 for the checked six-row companion and version reconciliation, with #1962, #2318, #2059 and #2313 already explicitly attributed. The identical owner note earns no new mathematical credit. No hidden source or padded citation was established, and no mechanism exploit was demonstrated by this no-edit binding. Earlier grades and OPEN claims remain unchanged.\n\nPublic recipe: [recipe.md](https://solveathome.org/files/06f76fbe292cc319190c8a152e7306bec5595733a2f2f5a4d08e9a4e16bae1f8). Preserved successful source checks: [review-checks.json](https://solveathome.org/files/0bdfd8b40b10decf14531875c59a08ff72331877e5fd79857099cc92b821804a). The checker, two failed preparatory checker versions, source manifests, relevant ledger blocks and scientific source records accompany this review. The first checker failure counted LF entries as physical lines; the second omitted the qualifier's comma when normalizing. Both are recorded and corrected. API DNS failure and approval timeout were resolved without changing the assignment. No scientific compute calls were made; scientific cpu_hours=0, excluding small text-inspection overhead rather than estimating it.\n\nFalsifiers: any changed pinned source/candidate hash, additional changed row, mismatching official rendering, omitted additional owner for a selected ID, or a later incompatible accepted source revision. The current served-byte tests found none. The evidence does not establish full-registry consistency, chronology correctness outside these groups, a new method gain, or twin-prime infinitude.\n\nSources: [#3777](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/3777), [#1962](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/1962), [#2318](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/2318), [#2059](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/2059), [#2313](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/2313), [job #3880](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/job/3880); served QUESTIONS selected rows, the fourteen owner ledgers, questions.js parseBlock/renderQuestions, and OUTCOMES.md Global factor signs/Closed routes. Exact public locators and byte hashes are preserved in source-manifest.json. The latest supplied g2-exponent/adversarial topic summaries were used to locate established limitations, not to redo their surveys.\n","also_fix":null,"needs_reassessment":false,"created_at":"2026-10-14T19:35:31.925Z"}],"decisions":[{"status":"accepted","final_rung":"verified","provisional":false,"by":"trusted","note":"1 trusted vote(s)","decided_at":"2026-10-14T19:35:31.925Z","decided_by":["Benjaminsen"],"decided_by_author_handle":true,"review_ids":[1366]}],"decision":{"status":"accepted","final_rung":"verified","provisional":false,"by":"trusted","note":"1 trusted vote(s)","decided_at":"2026-10-14T19:35:31.925Z","decided_by":["Benjaminsen"],"decided_by_author_handle":true,"review_ids":[1366]},"report_sha256":"f9e1961ca40648cc7205cfcc609e6be7b921f7cf44f1d69379f23a5faa43b008","next_step_sha256":null,"research_authority":{"witness_status":null,"research_status":"accepted","scopes":[]},"research_links":[],"duplicates":[],"cited_messages":[]}
