The served numbers are maxsum_1 = 528 and maxsum_3 = 582; all 240 per-segment values (max, min, sum, sum of squares at 12 window lengths, five segments) plus dOwn of the mirror's five `t37-partials` shards; #2080's 41-fold j histogram; #2187's R_loose classification; #2399's loose bins of length >= 3; and #2005's 75-class support. The T29 and T31 gates reproduce #1473's quoted supports first. The T37 support is {6, 12, ..., 432} U {462, 510, 528}, 75 values. 324 is present at T37 (1,426 gaps), so the T31 hole at 324 does not persist. The loose bins 1 and 2 at the 11 primes with R_loose >= 2 are new: no return named in the brief summed them. This pass disagrees with return #4362 twice, on numbers #4362 derived from #2399's run list rather than measured. First, the 2-set maximum at q = 59 and 61 is 3 here, against 2 in #4362. The witnesses are gcd-checked, and the likely cause is identified: #4362 read only loose runs of length >= 3, and a 3-slot 2-set run needs only 2 qualifying gaps. Second, at q = 37 there are 10 maximal 5-slot 2-set runs here, against \"eight\" in #4362; the cause is not found. Rung: measured (an exhaustive finite computation by one new engine, gated against brute force at T13 and T17 and against #1473 at T29 and T31, run twice with identical output). Nothing here bears on the department's ladder, route 311 or route 317.\n\n## Definitions implemented, with their sources\n\n- **Tile.** T_x = {r mod x# : gcd(r(r+2), x#) = 1}. Return #25 section 1 (strike r = 0 and r = q-2 mod q for odd q, one class at q = 2); return #2278, \"Object and proof\". D = prod_{3<=p<=x}(p-2) (#25 table).\n- **Gaps.** Slots s_0 < ... < s_{D-1} in [0, x#); g_i = s_{i+1} - s_i with s_D = s_0 + x#, so the word is cyclic, the multiplicities sum to D and the gaps sum to x# (#1473, Results).\n- **Gap support and G2.** The set of values taken by the cyclic gaps, with G2 its maximum (#1473, \"What was decided\" and Results). #1473's threshold is read here as the least prime above every prime p > x with L(T_x, p) >= 2, where L >= 2 iff some gap is 0, 2 or p-2 mod p (#1473's criterion). That reading gives 127 at T29 and 179 at T31, both as quoted.\n- **maxsum_m, minsum_m.** The largest and smallest sum of m consecutive cyclic gaps, S_m(i) = s_{i+m} - s_i over the periodic lift (`G2-STATE.md` section 4b, \"maxsum_m for the largest sum of m consecutive such gaps\"; section 4d gives its growth law; the duality maxsum_m + minsum_{D-m} = W is the complement identity listed in the \"not ours\" block near line 107, and needs no count). Computed for m = 1..64.\n- **Mirror segments.** The mirror shards own window starts at slot positions in [startPos, endPos). Here they are floor(k (37#/30030) / 5) * 30030, k = 0..5, which equal the shard files' `startPos`/`endPos`. Only this partition is shared with the served engine, and it is used only for reporting.\n- **Loose runs.** For a prime q, gap g qualifies when g mod q is in {0, 2, q-2}; a loose run is a maximal run of consecutive qualifying cyclic gaps, its length counted in gaps, and R_loose(q) is the largest length (#4362, \"the step, and what the record already contains\", the #1347 theorem it quotes; #2399 table, lengths in gaps). Primes 37 <= q <= G2 + 2 = 530, 88 primes (#2187, \"Answer to the step\"). Bin j is the number of maximal runs of length j (#2399, \"Scope\").\n- **The j <= 3 quantity of #2080.** At the 41-fold, j counts consecutive killed T37 slots over all 41 physical strips of the period 41 * 37#, a lift position P being killed when P mod 41 is in {0, 39}; the histogram counts maximal runs by j, with adjacency, triple multiplicity t, N0 (gaps = 0 mod 41) and Npm (gaps = +-2 mod 41) (#2080, \"Conventions\" and its first paragraph).\n- **2-set runs.** For q and each a mod q, maximal runs of consecutive slots of the absolute (unwrapped) lift with s mod q in {a, a+2}; L(T37, q) is the longest (#2278 \"Object and proof\"; #4362). For q = 41 the histogram over all a is #2080's j histogram: strip k kills the 2-set {a, a+2} with a = -k 37# - 2 mod 41. The derivation is in the `t37.c` header and `check_small.py`.\n- **m*.** The largest m with maxsum_m < 4 G2 (#1850, \"At T_31, maxsum_26 = 1380 < 1392 = 4*348 <= maxsum_27\").\n\n## The code, and why it shares nothing with the served engine\n\n`t37.c` (C, single thread per process) builds T23 by a segmented sieve over [0, 23#) that strikes r = 0 mod 2 and r = 0, -2 mod q for 3 <= q <= 23. It then walks T37 as t + j*23# over the 33,263 blocks j, testing each candidate mod 29, 31 and 37 directly. It uses no fold recursion, no mod-30 lattice and no copying. Slot ranks come from the joint histogram of T23 mod (29, 31, 37), which gives the exact slot count c(j) of every block. A shard owns slot indices [i0, i1) and seeks to slot i0 by those ranks. The walk checks every completed block's survivor count against c(j), and checks that sum c(j) = prod(p-2). A shard walks slots i0-1 .. i1+64. It owns the gaps, windows and runs whose first gap starts at an owned slot, and it aborts if an owned run is still open at the end of the tail. I did not read the served engine's source (`scanstat-t37-0*.js`) or any served counter (`loosecensus*.c`, `tcensus.c`, `fusion4539.c`, `mstar2p.c`). From the mirror I read only the shard JSON and run log.\n\nChecks on the code itself:\n\n- `python3 check_small.py 13` and `check_small.py 17` compute T13 and T17 from `math.gcd` on every residue. They compute every statistic from its definition, with 2-set runs taken over #2080's physical strips directly and not by `t37.c`'s keying. Each tile is compared with `t37` at three bases and 1, 3 and 7 shards, 18 configurations: all agree.\n- `t37 --tile 29` and `--tile 31` at base 23 and at base 19 (different block structure, 667 and 20,677 blocks) give identical reports.\n- The second T37 pass (with witness recording added) matches the first on all 96 shards in every field except timing.\n- `witness.py` checks recorded runs by `math.gcd` alone. All 1,242 T37 witnesses pass, and a witness shifted by 6 is rejected.\n\n## Gates: T29 and T31 against #1473 (run before T37)\n\n`nice -n 10 ./t37 --tile 29` (1.96 s wall, 1.92 s user) and `--tile 31` (52.4 s wall, 51.2 s user), merged by `merge.py out/gates --tile X`:\n\n| statistic | this pass | #1473 (Results, quoted) | verdict |\n|---|---|---|---|\n| T29 D | 214,708,725 | 214,708,725 | agree |\n| T29 support | {6, 12, ..., 240} U {258}, 41 values | {6,12,...,240} U {258} (41 values) | agree |\n| T29 G2 | 258 | 258 | agree |\n| T29 threshold | 127 | 127 | agree |\n| T29 primes p > 29 with L >= 2 | 20 | 20 | agree |\n| T29 mean gap, var/mean | 30.132, 15.256 | 30.132, 15.256 | agree |\n| T31 D | 6,226,553,025 | 6,226,553,025 | agree |\n| T31 support | {6, ..., 318} U {330, 348}, 55 values; 324, 336, 342 absent | {6,12,...,318} U {330, 348} (55 values) | agree |\n| T31 G2 | 348 | 348 | agree |\n| T31 threshold | 179 | 179 | agree |\n| T31 primes p > 31 with L >= 2 | 27 | 27 | agree |\n| T31 mean gap, var/mean | 32.211, 17.022 | 32.211, 17.022 | agree |\n\nAlso at T31: m* = 26 with maxsum_24 = 1302, maxsum_26 = 1380 and maxsum_27 = 1428, all as #1850 quotes. The T37 numbers in bins 1 and 2 are therefore this pass's alone. Two internal checks hold. At q = 41, bin 1 + 2 bin 2 + 3 bin 3 = 1,688,707,348 + 7,408 + 24 = 1,688,714,780 = N0 + Npm, the number of qualifying gaps. Every recorded witness passes the gcd check in `witness.py`. Example at q = 59: consecutive T37 slots 201,395,724,347, 201,395,724,581 and 201,395,724,701, with gaps 234 and 120, which are -2 and +2 mod 59. Their residues mod 59 are 20, 18 and 20, inside {18, 20}, and the neighbouring gaps 18 and 6 do not qualify. Every q = 59 and q = 61 witness uses one of the gap pairs (234, 120), (120, 234), (246, 120) or (120, 246), which form loose runs of length 2. The likely cause: #4362 derived L only from #2399's runs of length >= 3, which at q = 59 and 61 all read (120, 120, 120), and so saw no 2-gap loose run. Its own text says an L >= 4 needs >= 3 qualifying gaps; an L = 3 needs only 2. The upper bound L <= R_loose + 1 = 4 is not in question.\n- **q = 37, number of 5-slot runs: disagree.** This pass finds 10 maximal 5-slot 2-set runs at q = 37, all at distinct positions and all passing the gcd check. Five have interior gaps (72, 150, 72, 150) and five have (150, 72, 150, 72). They pair under the tile mirror s -> 37# - 2 - s. #4362 says \"eight of them are the alternating order (72, 150, 72, 150)\". Both give L = 5. The cause of 10 against eight is not found; #2399's run file was not available to this lane.\n- The six R_loose = 2 primes that #4362 left open (2 <= L <= 3) read L = 3 at 43, 47 and 67 and L = 2 at 83, 89 and 97.\n\n## Cost\n\nMachine: Apple M3 Ultra, macOS 27.2, Apple clang 21.0.0 (`clang -O3 -mcpu=native`), Python 3.9.6. shard files, gate files, merged JSON, reports and witness list under the gitignored `out/`. Shard files carry their timings, so a fresh run matches them in every field but `wall_s`, `user_s`, `sys_s` and `setup_s`. The committed `t37.c` (sha256 prefix 7f60a484fd94d152) produced the rerun and the witnesses. The gates and the first pass ran on the same file before the `--witness` option was added, and the rerun matches the first pass field for field.\n\n## What this rests on\n\n- The definitions above, as worded in the cited returns. The loose prime range 37..530 comes from #2187, and #1473's threshold is my reading of an undefined term, fixed by matching both quoted values.\n- One new engine. It is a separate reading of the tile only in that it shares no code and no construction with the served engines. Like them, it computes from the same definitions, so a shared misreading of a definition would not be caught. The brute-force gate covers that risk only at T13 and T17.\n- Agreement with #2005 and #2080 is agreement with their reports. Cost 1.3 CPU-h in all: 96.9 s wall and 2,153 user-s for the first T37 pass on 24 threads at nice 10, 100.4 s wall and 2,359 user-s for the rerun with witnesses, peak RSS 66 MB per shard.","assumptions_md":"The definitions as worded in the cited returns (tile, cyclic gaps, support and G2 from #25 and #1473; maxsum_m and minsum_m from G2-STATE.md section 4b; loose runs and R_loose from #4362's quotation of the #1347 theorem and #2399's table; the 41-fold j from #2080's conventions; 2-set runs from #2278 and #4362; m* from #1850). #1473's threshold is read as the least prime above every prime p > x with L(T_x, p) >= 2, a reading fixed by matching both quoted values (127 and 179). The engine is independent of the served ones only in code and construction; a shared misreading of a definition would not be caught, and the brute-force gate covers that risk only at T13 and T17. The mirror's segment partition (floor(k (37#/30030) / 5) * 30030) is the only thing shared with the served engine, used for reporting only. Apple clang 21.0.0 at -O3 -mcpu=native on an M3 Ultra, Python 3.9.6; the per-shard timings are from a shared host.","artifact_sha256":["15d2018b31e5f69a622e0f8069ca62d64f6ed52c7d51bf5a9572cd8f87b3b430","7f60a484fd94d152dd02a11072f6f000de9a5b69700af8cd9c50875cca23ce19","f2d3a800ca5a3798d49dafff8f81da2d1dae702a9f1f97cb61b5ca0ddd9794a7","6e494ff582b20c9251c5bd4fc8367293a38b8172aa7534480b9d9e47af972e17","7e93221fc77d688339219564f651ea182ba2716135e0e49d192d862d3da8c396","a51fe5f7105bca88b6cad4c7f32610e9e88e9ffc4a9b96235865b1eb9a16b7bd","641dbfbd42a553517d3205a32568322a67ff51832c150a0c7e44791e7602ebd2","773490ad76323edaea8a6c9a060d576b336490ffacb984c71ed1c7f123891a33","87b82cf6ee4c2b8aace104babd34a16a86f802e0ab00961c002350c11decb7cd","0892d0df0b72c5666a974ae21ac2fbd1aca52687420bf890aa5eda7b2d7f0d7d","0c40ceb80f0ddfd5477f4667a7e51908df1cedd806c86a52c0bda362ff56b2d0","feba0b0c64b0f21e96fbbd1c93d68168bfad666124ae37fbaefda60fb5ee10e7","59eafd8c7e764bb7b1f209e976bfca70ea61905bc0a1120635138bf7c4203976"],"transfer_conditions_md":"With a C compiler and Python 3: `clang -O3 -mcpu=native -o t37 t37.c`, `python3 check_small.py 13 && python3 check_small.py 17`, then `nice -n 10 ./t37 --tile 29` (2 s) and `--tile 31` (52 s) with `merge.py --tile`, then `./run37.sh` (96 shards, about 2,150 CPU-s) and `python3 merge.py out/ --mirror <t37-partials dir>`; every field of every shard file matches SHA256SUMS.txt except the four timing fields.
