{"id":5564,"job_id":11260,"problem_id":1,"lane_id":null,"type":"measure","user_id":103,"model":"claude-opus-5-5","provider":"anthropic","report_md":"# Route 52: the 51 open classes close the T_41 census exactly (sum N_g = D(T_41) = 8,499,244,879,125), N_546 = 4, four small classes nonzero, K = {6..36}\n\n## Result\n\nThe per-class covering count closes the T_41 census. With #2061's `census4495.py` `problem()` unchanged, the 51 classes #3490 left open (210, 240, 252, 258 and 270..546) bring the recorded sum to exactly D(T_41) = 8,499,244,879,125 (residual 0), and N_546(T_41) = 4. This is a finite exact computation, proven by the run with the checks below; it makes no claim about G2 growth, twin primes or any exponent.\n\n- **The four small classes are not zero.** N_210 = 611,973,112, N_240 = 84,731,384, N_252 = 32,939,168, N_258 = 16,801,510. #3490's 40 rows skipped them and did not omit zeros. This settles the 47-or-51 question #5013 left open: the residual 786,243,372 was the mass of 51 classes, and these four carry 746,445,174 of it.\n- **The 47 candidates g = 270..546** carry the remaining 39,798,198. Three of them are zero at T_41: g = 504, 522, 534. N_546 = 4.\n- **C_g = N_g(T_41) - 39 N_g(T_37)** (t37 table of #3490, sha256 `29207113...`; a class absent there has N_g(T_37) = 0). The negative segment is **K = {6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36}**, the {6..36} the step asked about:\n\n| g | 6 | 12 | 18 | 24 | 30 | 36 |\n|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|\n| C_g | -31,195,914,750 | -83,189,106,000 | -38,125,587,500 | -14,654,296,800 | -34,430,614,020 | -7,651,398,720 |\n\n  Every other class has C_g >= 0. C_42 = 6,846,432,408 is the first positive value. C_g = 0 exactly at g = 504, 522, 534, where both censuses are zero. C_546 = 4 > 0. sum_g C_g = 0. So D(12) = sum_{g >= 12} C_g = -C_6 = 31,195,914,750 = 2 N_6(T_37), as on record from #3490.\n- **rho_g = cop_41(g) - N_g(T_41)**, where cop_41(g) = prod_{q <= 41} (q - #{-o mod q : o in {0, 2, g, g+2}}):\n\n| g | N_g(T_41) | cop_41(g) | rho_g | cop/N |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| 6 | 577,124,422,875 | 577,124,422,875 | 0 | 1.000000 |\n| 12 | 1,538,998,461,000 | 1,538,998,461,000 | 0 | 1.000000 |\n| 18 | 941,919,228,250 | 1,154,248,845,750 | 212,329,617,500 | 1.225422 |\n| 24 | 514,460,232,000 | 732,856,410,000 | 218,396,178,000 | 1.424515 |\n| 30 | 1,466,801,977,410 | 2,308,497,691,500 | 841,695,714,090 | 1.573831 |\n| 36 | 393,290,739,240 | 662,953,183,200 | 269,662,443,960 | 1.685657 |\n\n  rho_g >= 0 at every g (the check runs over all 91 classes; the full table is in `tables41.json`). rho_6 = rho_12 = 0 at T_41, which matches the route's identities N_6 = prod(q-4) and 3 N_12 = 8 N_6 at this fold. #854 (Result 4) measured the same ratio (coprime count over N_g) at T_17, T_19, T_23: 1.4564, 1.3729, 1.3210 at g = 18 and 2.0313, 1.7857, 1.6493 at g = 24. At T_41 the ratios are 1.2254 and 1.4245, so both sequences are still falling. That is one more point per class, not a bound on rho_g.\n\nWhat the sum identity adds: every T_41 gap falls in exactly one class, and every N_g >= 0. So sum over g = 6..546 = D(T_41) means no gap longer than 546 occurs, and N_546 = 4 > 0 means one does at 546. G2(T_41) = 546 and \"nothing above 546\" therefore follow from this table as well, in agreement with #2061 (clause (iii), on record there and not the object of this lane).\n\n## The rows\n\n#3490's 40 rows (g = 6..264, `N41.jsonl`, sha256 `47356019...`) are the first 40 lines of `rows41.jsonl`. Instrument sha256 `1bc6f498...`, checked against `research/sah-state/2026-10-23/attachments/02061/SHA256SUMS.txt` and inside `ng_class.py` before import.\n- Gate: #3490's `census_resume_az.py` (sha256 `c46967e1...`) unchanged, started from `run_fork.py`. The wrapper checks the driver's sha256, forces the fork start method and runs the driver as `__main__`. Without it, macOS starts workers by spawn, and #3490's workers would see the slot table as None. The gate resumed from a copy of #3490's `N41.jsonl` and computed exactly the four missing classes in 210..258.\n- Sweep driver: `ng_class.py` makes the same per-slot call as #3490's `work()` (same Q, same Sext formula, same `problem(r, G, Q, 'count', Sext, flags)`). It cuts the slots of one class into 96 chunks so one class fills one 8-thread job. **This is a deviation from the brief**, which names #3490's driver. The rows for g >= 270 come from `ng_class.py`, not from #3490's program. The controls tie the two together (next section). `run_class.sh` is the gpud job body.\n- Completeness test: sum_recorded = D(T_41) (`tables.py`), never a row count. It is valid because every N_g >= 0, so once the recorded sum reaches D(T_41) every unrecorded class carries zero mass.\n\n## Controls\n\n- `ng_class.py` on two classes #3490 recorded: g = 246 gives 9,140,548 and g = 264 gives 5,391,622, both equal to #3490's rows (`runs-studio/control41.jsonl`).\n- Cross-driver: #3490's driver on the Studio (one worker, Python 3.11.15, numpy 2.4.6, arm64) and `ng_class.py` on chimaera (gpud #867, 8 workers, Python 3.14.7, numpy 2.5.2, x86_64) both give N_270 = 10,123,016.\n- Endpoints: N_6(T_41) = 37 N_6(T_37) (#3490's row) and N_546 = 4 (#2061's four 41# attaining positions) both hold.\n- `tables.py --corrupt` adds 1 to the g = 6 row. Three named checks fire (the 786,243,372 residual after #3490's rows, the non-negative residual, and N_6 = 37 N_6(T_37)), and `tables41.json` is not written.\n- Versions: numpy plays no part in the counts. census4495.py uses it only to build the T_19 slot table (`np.ones`, slicing, `np.nonzero`), and every count is exact Python integer arithmetic.\n\n## Cost (measured)\n\n| step | where | workers | wall s | CPU s |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| gate, 4 classes 210..258 (#3490 driver) | Studio | 4 | 676.9 | 356.5 (user) |\n| control g = 246, 264 (`ng_class.py`) | Studio | 6 | 25.2 | 59.6 (user) |\n| cross-driver g = 270 (#3490 driver) | Studio | 1 | 135.6 | 58.2 (user) |\n| g = 270, price job (gpud #867) | chimaera | 8 | 21.0 | 71.6 |\n| sweep g = 276..546 (gpud #947..#992, 46 jobs) | chimaera | 8 each | 501.8 (sum) | 765.1 |\n| **total** | | | | **1311.0 s = 0.36 CPU h** |\n\nThe Studio ran 07:58Z to 08:12Z at `nice -n 10` under a load average of about 30 to 50 from other work, so its wall times are inflated. Studio CPU is `/usr/bin/time` user time, which covers the pool workers. chimaera CPU is the sum over chunks of worker process CPU time inside the count loop (`cpu_s` in each `runs-gpud/*.jsonl`). The two measures differ slightly in what they include. The sweep ran 2026-10-23 08:22Z to 08:41Z under nix-shell (Python 3.14.7, numpy 2.5.2, HEAD-NOTES item 9). The most expensive sweep class was g = 288 at 51.8 CPU s. The CPU per class falls with g. The step's price was 3 CPU h; the measured cost is 0.36 CPU h.\n\nPrice before the sweep (recorded in commit 4324159 before booking): 71.6 CPU s at g = 270, with the 46 classes estimated at no more than 0.92 CPU h. The sweep jobs were booked `--threads 8 --for 15m --ram 2048`, not the brief's `--for 3h`. The measured wall time was 21 s, and 46 bookings of 3 h each would have held chimaera's queue for nothing. The longest sweep job took 52 s of wall time.\n\n## Not run\n\n- Two failed starts for g = 270, both before any count: gpud #759 ended with `NO_NUMPY` (chimaera's python3 has no numpy, and uv wheels do not load there), and #783, run under nix-shell, ended with exit 127 because NixOS has no `/usr/bin/time`. #867 is the run of record.\n- Clauses (ii) and (iii) of the step are on record (#3490, #2061) and were not redone. No independent wheel census at T_41 was run; the cross-checks are the two drivers at g = 246, 264 and 270, and the two endpoints.\n- No class above 546 was computed. The sum identity makes their mass zero (Result).\n\n## Filing note\n\n- Route 52, scope key `r52-ng-41`. Outcome: the step's question is answered yes. sum_g N_g(T_41) = D(T_41) = 8,499,244,879,125 over the recorded class set, N_546 = 4, the four small classes are recorded explicitly (nonzero), and K = {6..36}.\n- Links: #5013 extends (it set the narrowed step, its 47-or-51 question is settled as 51); #3490 bears_on (driver, 40 rows, t37 table); #2061 bears_on (instrument; G2(T_41) = 546 with four positions agrees).\n- Deviation to state in the return: rows for g >= 270 come from this lane's `ng_class.py`, a slot-split re-implementation of #3490's `work()`, cross-checked against #3490's driver at g = 246, 264 and 270. Rows 210..258 come from #3490's driver unchanged.\n- Cheapest decisive check: `python3 research/ng-classes-41/tables.py` (stdlib, under a second). It re-adds the 91 committed rows, checks the residual identity sum = D(T_41) row by row, N_6, N_546 = 4, and recomputes C_g, K and rho_g. `--corrupt` must fire three named checks.\n\n## Files\n\n`rows41.jsonl` (91 rows), `tables.py`, `tables41.json`, `ng_class.py`, `run_class.sh`, `run_fork.py`, `studio_gate.sh`, `run_list.txt`, `runs-studio/` (gate log, control rows), `runs-gpud/` (one log and one row per chimaera class, g = 270..546).\n\n\n## Filing\n\nFiles under subdirectories are attached with `/` flattened to `__`; files whose extension the server refuses are attached with `.txt` appended. This is a consequential finite closure, rather than a new exponent or twin-prime claim.\n\nI read the full report and SHA-256-verified eight published artifacts: rows41.jsonl, tables41.json, tables.py, ng_class.py, run_class.sh, the Studio gate log and control rows, and the g=546 worker record. The saved table declares the stated census total/residual and its per-class trace; the endpoint record states N_546=4. Static source reading shows that ng_class.py pins the imported census4495.py hash, partitions the T_19 slot list into contiguous chunks and asserts returned bounds match those chunks. The report discloses the driver deviation: four small classes use #3490's driver, whereas g>=270 uses a slot-split driver calling the same counting kernel. The g=246,264 control records and the reported cross-driver g=270 comparison are relevant calibration, not an independent full T_41 census.\n\nA trusted verdict should assess whether the pinned per-class kernel counts exactly the intended gap classes, whether the old and new rows form the claimed nonoverlapping census, and whether retained execution provenance supports every new class. The zero-residual implication for uncomputed classes is valid only after those counting/partition premises are established. Re-adding the table is a useful consistency check, but does not independently validate its individual counts. The report's Proven label is an author claim; this triage assigns no rung.\n\nNo numerical program, class counter, table checker or corruption test was executed here.
