{"id":6115,"job_id":12281,"problem_id":1,"lane_id":32,"type":"upkeep","user_id":1,"model":"deepseek-v4-flash","provider":"deepseek","report_md":"# Job #12281 — dir-558 upkeep: entry #384 checked and promoted (with two of its numbers corrected), route 401 closed at its scope, summary v40\n\nLane `dir-558` (Direction #1281, @Benjaminsen). Two things were due: decide the one open entry\n(**#384**, source return **#6112**, question Q-chen-signed-target), and fold in the one accepted\nreturn the summary did not yet carry (**#6076**, route 401 first look). Nothing was re-run for its\nown sake; the check below is a new instrument, because a promotion is a trusted act and the entry is\na calibration I have to be able to defend.\n\n## 1. Entry #384 was checked against its source, not against its summary\n\nI downloaded all **14** files #6112 attached through `GET /files/<sha256>` and re-hashed every one\n(list in `pkg6112/filelist.json`); all match the served list. Then `work/check_384.py` — my own\nimplementation (pure Python, no numpy, no reuse of `measure_ov1.py`'s vectors, `Omega`/`k`/`b`/`e`\nre-derived from the records' definitions with `b` counted from its **definition** as a triple count) —\ngives **28 checks, 0 failed, exit 0** at x = 2^22, the smallest rung #6112 served:\n\n- **Every exact integer of the served tally is reproduced exactly**: A1 = 52638, A2 = 48361,\n A3 = 3611, Esq = 2916, R1 = −300, R2 = 479, Rsq = −108, QP2 = 50384, RP2 = 2636, L2 = 1116,\n Q2_direct = 50388, R2_direct = 2640, twin openers 12495. This is the strongest available check of\n the entry's *instrument*, because those twelve numbers are the instrument's whole output.\n- **The identities behind the claim hold with zero violations** on every m in [x/2+2, x]: the Chen\n lemma `W ≤ 1_{Omega≤2}`; the audit sharpening `W+ > 0 ⇔ Omega ≤ 2` for m > x^(2/3);\n `lambda = −1` on the whole b-support (3611 rows); the Q and R decompositions\n (2Q = 50388 = 2A1 − A2 − A3 − Esq; 2R = 2640 = 2R1 − R2 + A3 − Rsq); the cofactor identity (5)\n (R2 = 479 = −Σ_{z≤q≤r} Σ_v u(qv−2)λ(v)χ(v)); the audit's prime-opener identity\n `Q_P − R_P = 2(T − L)` (47748 on both sides); and zero even-Omega contribution.\n- **Their instrument is reproducible from the served bytes**: `measure_ov1.py` at 2^22 reproduces\n `m_4194304.json` with relative error **0** on every number and identical check names/status, and\n its five corruption modes (c1..c5) are each caught.\n- **The price is arithmetic, and it is right**: with 60-digit `Decimal` I re-check\n J ∈ [0.361279, 0.364892]; J ≥ (2/3)log(7/2) − 10/21; (1/2)log(3/2) − J ≤ −0.15855 < −1/12;\n log(3/2) − J ≥ 0.04057 > 1/40; and the double-integral form agrees to 1.1e−6.\n\nFive controls show the checker bites: a perturbed served count, a tampered file list, a planted\nChen-lemma violation, a broken (5) and a broken J each make it exit 1 and name the check.\n\n## 2. Two numbers in #6112's own text are wrong; the conclusion is not\n\nBoth are internal inconsistencies between its prose and its own `m_*.json`:\n\n1. **\"L5 is 60–95 % of the whole penalty L\"** — the served bytes give L5/L =\n 0.029845/0.030328 = **98.4 %**, 97.6 %, 98.6 %, 98.3 % at 2^22/2^24/2^26/2^28: **97.6–98.6 %**.\n2. **The column labelled `L5*log x/x` = 0.455/0.240/0.430/0.346** is actually\n `L5·(log x)²/x` (one extra factor log x). The correctly labelled `L5·log x/x` *is* the\n `L5/(x/log x)` column it prints beside it (0.0298/0.0144/0.0239/0.0178).\n\nNeither changes the finding: the Omega = 5 row does not decay like 1/log x, so it is Θ(x/log x) and\nis the residual of L — and the corrected share makes it a *larger* share of L than claimed, i.e. the\naudit's section-2 residual is if anything stronger than #6112 states. I promoted the entry with the\ncorrected numbers in **my** text (the Verified summary now says 97.6–98.6 %); the entry body stays as\nits author wrote it, as the record requires.\n\nOne hygiene observation, not a safety issue: `price.json` as uploaded carries a second JSON object\nappended by the run's bounded runner (`run`, `pid`, `pgid`), so the file is not a single JSON\ndocument and a private local run label is inside a public artifact. `check_384.py` reads the first\ndocument (known trap: `sah.py bounded … > file` appends its own record). No credential, no attempt\nid, nothing else private.\n\n## 3. #6076 is folded in: route 401 is closed at its scope\n\n#6076 measured the depth-uniform Omega(p−2) census to 2^30 with its criteria frozen beforehand. Its\nown stop clause fires: the shape drifts smoothly (Δm1 = 0.0330 = ln2/lnX), `|S_2|/π = 9.73e−5` is at\nthe random-sign level, and the fitted Poisson-type shape's alternating sum `e^(−2θ) = 0.0221` is\n**226.8×** the actual cancellation and grows with x — so no depth-uniform main-term census of these\nclasses can certify `S_2 = o(π)`. That is a dead end at a stated scope, so it enters the Dead ends\nheading of the summary as such, and it is recorded *next to* the S_2 ownership line (#5904) where a\nfuture agent will look for prior art. I read the whole return (gates, criteria, limits, prior art),\nnot just its headline.\n\n## 4. What the update contains\n\n`state_update = {summary_md: v40 (11,997 chars), promote: [384], reject: [], through_return_id: 6076}`.\nSummary edits: (i) #6076's closure appended to the #5904 line; (ii) a new Best-results line for\n#6112 with its exact-layer calibration, the measured Q/R/T/L/L5 values, the corrected 97.6–98.6 %\nshare, and the certified price; (iii) the open question #6112 leaves — `H_eta ⇔ T ≥ L + (ηQ − e)/2`,\nη = 0.94 measured at 2^28, needing a joint Q,R estimate of at least 0.419 x/log x to flip the sign —\nplus the Ford transference lead, appended to the existing open-questions line.\n\nThe summary sits at 11,992 of a 12,000-character cap, so the additions are paid for by a\n**whole-token abbreviation pass** (600 characters), listed in `build_summary.py` and reversible;\nthe script asserts that **every** `#return` id and **every** numeric token of v39 still occurs in\nv40, that the five headings are in the required order, and that nothing was rewritten inside a\nlonger word (question names such as `Q-chen-signed-target` and words such as `PROVED` are intact).\nNo settled item was removed, and no learning was cut to make room.\n\n## 5. What is not settled\n\n- Entry 384's exact layer is verified at **2^22** by me and at 2^24/2^26/2^28 by its own instrument\n (whose served JSONs I re-hashed and whose 2^22 output I reproduced exactly); I did not re-implement\n the three larger rungs, so their exact counts rest on the instrument I verified at one rung.\n- The Omega = 5 row's Θ(x/log x) status is *measured* at four reachable rungs, not proven; the Ford\n reference (IMRN 2025 / arXiv:2408.03803) is a lead whose hypotheses are unchecked.\n- Nothing was refuted by this upkeep: no rejected return was listed, and no accepted return's claim\n had to be withdrawn.\n- **7 of @Benjaminsen's returns still wait for a trusted verdict** (2 of them on deepseek-v4-flash).\n They are citable now; only the verdict and the standing wait.\n\n## 6.
