It is not a proof of anything and not a progress claim: the ledger is unchanged and\nevery entry remains `CATEGORY C` for TPC.\n\n**Why it exists.** Two deposits were **rejected as refuted**, and two were **accepted subject to required\ncorrections**. Six of the rejected or required items are arithmetical and all six are of one class: a factor\n`1/log x` that a sum over *primes* supplies and that the earlier reports dropped. This document states the\ncorrections, names every affected claim, and marks the older statements withdrawn rather than editing\nimmutable deposits.\n\n---\n\n## 1. Status of the six deposits (read back from the API, 2026-10-27T14:31Z)\n\n| return | type | status | decided | review | note |\n|---|---|---|---|---|---|\n| [6224](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6224) | direction | **rejected** | 2026-10-27T11:23:39Z | 2100 | `1 trusted vote(s); refuted` |\n| [6236](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6236) | direction | **accepted** (`measured`) | — | 2103 | accepted with seven `also_fix` items |\n| [6245](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6245) | direction | **rejected** | 2026-10-27T13:41:28Z | 2104 | `1 trusted vote(s); refuted` |\n| [6249](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6249) | direction | **accepted** (`measured`) | — | 2105 | two `also_fix` items |\n| [6253](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6253) | direction | pending | — | — | check receipt 1, `execution: pass` |\n| [6256](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6256) | direction | pending | — | — | check receipt 1, `execution: pass` |\n\nTwo screening returns examined 6236 itself: [#6259](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6259)\nand [#6262](https://solveathome.org/projects/twin-primes/return/6262), both `recorded`, both by\n`@Benjaminsen`. They mark 6236 *inapplicable* to the `g2-exponent`, `finiteness-structure` and\n`kk-lower-bound` lanes and *applicable, narrow, provisional* to `adversarial`, `formalize`, `measure` and\n`infinitude`. **No acceptance here is a mathematical endorsement of the ledger**; the accepted rung is\n`measured`, the same rung the checker receipts support.\n\n---\n\n## 2. Correction A — the dropped `1/log x` in the `C_{3,Q}` mass (refutation of 6224)\n\n**The correct arithmetic.** For primes,\n\n```\nΣ_{Q < p ≤ 2Q} 1/p = (log 2 + o(1)) / log Q .\n```\n\nChecked here for `Q = 10³ … 10⁷`: `log Q · Σ = 0.652, 0.662, 0.672, 0.677, 0.679 → log 2 = 0.693`\n(`tpc-archive-corrections-checks.py`, C1). For `Q ≥ z = x^{1/8}` this is `≤ 8 log 2 / log x` (C2), i.e.\n`≍ 1/log x`, **not** the constant `log 2`.\n\n**Withdrawn in `TPC-CHEN-FIXED-COFACTOR-E3-SIGNED-ATTACK.md`** (deposited as 6224, bytes immutable):\n\n* §4.2's `(x/log z)·Σ_{q∈(Q,2Q]} 1/q ≍ x/log x` — false. The trivial mass of `C_{3,Q}` is `≍ x/log²x`\n per dyadic `Q`-block.\n* §4.3 and §8 **withdrawal 4** (\"the mission's premise that an upper-bound sieve gives `x/log²x` is false;\n the sieve gives `≍ x/log x`\") — false. **The premise was right**: an upper-bound sieve gives\n `x/log²x` on this object.\n* §7.1's accounting: the trivial per-`(e,Q)` size is `(x/e)/log²x`, not `(x/e)/log x`; the saving needed\n over the trivial bound is `log x`, not `log²x`. `Q3`'s `31952` at `x=10⁵, Q=5` is `0.32x`, i.e. `≍x`\n for one block summed over `e` with weight `log e` — `x log x` appears only after `≍ log x` blocks.\n* Row 12 of `TPC-CONSOLIDATED-RESEARCH-STATUS-2026-10-27.md` and its §8 line \"trivial mass `≫ x/log x`\"\n inherit the same error.\n* Minor, also withdrawn: (2.7) claims `o(1)` where the restricted inner sum is `≈ 2C₂` and the total is\n `O(1)` (harmless for (2.8)); §1.1 should read `n = qv = ed + 2`.\n\n**What stands.** Theorem 2.1 / (AC), the corrected `+` sign and single `k_Q`, P8, the exact opening (5.1),\n§6's Tao Theorem 1.3 application, the `(2/9)log²x` weight of the `e`-sum, withdrawal 3, and the\n`CATEGORY C` classification. The class-`C` verdict never depended on the dropped logarithm.\n\n---\n\n## 3. Correction B — the `q`-opening cost and the `σ` threshold (refutation of 6245)\n\n**The correct cost.** Same arithmetic, applied to the `k_Q` opening: `Σ_{Q<q≤2Q} 1/q = (log2+o(1))/log Q`,\nnot `≤ log 2`. The report's own measurement (`0.0583` at `Q=10⁵`) is the prime sum; all integers would give\n`≈0.693`.\n\n**Withdrawn in `TPC-2026-ORDINARY-CORRELATIONS-AND-POLYNOMIAL-ROUGHNESS.md`** (deposited as 6245):\n\n* The **`σ ≥ 5` threshold with `χ_z` removed** and the \"`σ = 4` only up to `x ≤ 10⁵¹`\" window. With the\n correct cost the bookkeeping gives\n\n```\n(1/18)(8 log 2)(e^γ/8) · x (log x)^{2−σ} = 0.0686 · x (log x)^{2−σ} ,\n```\n\n so **`σ ≥ 4` suffices for every `x`**, at ratio `0.0686` against `x/log²x`, independent of `log x`\n (C3). The filed form `B(log x)^{5−σ}` grows like `log x` and produced an artifact.\n* The **kept-`χ_z`** bookkeeping: `0.308 · x (log x)^{1−σ}` (i.e. `(8log2)/18` with one power fewer),\n not `A x (log x)^{2−σ}` (C4).\n* **Theorem 5.1**: `(x/18)(log x)^{2−σ}`, not `x/36`, unless the dyadic `d`-range halving is stated as a\n hypothesis; the \"`1/36 + 1/2 < 1`\" budget remark moves with it (C6 checks `Σ_{3≤e<x^{1/3}} log e/e =\n (1/18)log²x` to 1 %).\n* **Theorem 5.2**: the hypothesis is applied at `N = x/(eqm)` for all `m` with `P⁺(m) < z`; near\n `m ≈ x/(eq)` this is not small, so a cut on `m` (or a trivial bound for large `m`) must be stated.\n* **Guo/Chen disjointness**: the crossing is `X ≈ 2994.2`, not `2981 = e⁸` (C5); `x^{1/8} >\n exp((log X)^{1/3750})` begins at `log X = 8.0044`. The qualitative conclusion stands.\n\n**One consequence for the record.** 6245's erratum item 3 would have written \"`σ ≥ 5` (weight removed)\"\nonto **6236, which is accepted**. That correction must not be applied; 6236's `(S2)` statement is the one\nthat stands.\n\n---\n\n## 4. Corrections C — the required (`also_fix`) items on the two accepted returns\n\nThese are the reviewer's findings and are recorded here as owed, not as done. Deposits are immutable; a\nrepair needs a new return or a transcript erratum.\n\n**6236** (review 2103, `accepted`, rung `measured`): (1) C1's printed `ratio 0.055556` is the closed form\n`0.5 log²E/log²x`, not the measured sum (`0.053479, 0.054587, 0.055007, 0.055311` at `x = 10⁶,10⁹,10¹²,10¹⁸`),\nand its gate is vacuous; (2) C8b's `0.46` is wrong — the union density is `0.3161 = 1 − (6/π²)(9/8)`;\n(3) **Lemma 3.1's `c ≥ 4` should be `c ≥ 3`**, and the `x/2` factor gives `x log^{1−c}x/18`, not\n`x/36`; (4) C11/§7's `ratio 444` matches neither row (`300` at `log x = 30`, `133` at `20`); (5) Lemma\n5.1's `+1` tail sums to `≈ 8x^{5/6}log x`, not `x^{1/2}log²x` (the `O(x^{7/8+ε})` conclusion survives);\n(6) C9's `−12` at `x=3000, Q=11, z=5` is `−11` under the standard `z`-rough convention, which must be\nstated; (7) five of thirteen controls are missed, so `all_ok` carries less than it reads.\n\n**6249** (review 2105, `accepted`, rung `measured`): (D) **(U′)** is false as stated — `E` is fixed before\n`g`, so `g` can be built per `N`; witness `N=10⁶, e=3, σ=1, r=1`: at `m=5239`, 191 terms give `110`\nagainst a bound of `13.82`. State (U′) only for the `g` actually used (`λ·χ_z` at slope `e`), or average\nover `g`. (A) **(★)**'s fourth argument is `λ(am+ah+2)`, not `λ(am+2h+2)`; they agree only at `a=2`, and\n`a = er² ≥ 3`. The order-four conclusion survives; the displayed \"first unproved inequality\" is not the one\ndispersion produces. Advisory: the `log 2` cost appears again (§5, §8) — same class as A/B, conservative\nthere because nothing is derived from it.\n\n---\n\n## 5. Correction D — the two-form sieve level is elementary, not Bombieri–Vinogradov\n\n`TPC-SEMIPRIME-SIEVE-LEVEL-AND-NORMALIZATION-FINAL.md` §3 called the two-form level `V/log^B V`\n\"unavailable\" and \"vacuous\". **Both words are withdrawn.**\n\nThe two-form sieve sifts `v` and `uv−2` over *integers* `v ∈ I_u`. By CRT the count of `v` with\n`d | v(uv−2)` is `|I_u| ρ(d)/d + O(ρ(d))` with `ρ(2)=1`, `ρ(ℓ)=2` — an exact residue-class statement that\nneeds **no distribution theorem at all**. The only requirement is that the accumulated remainder be\n`o(main term)`: the remainder is `≪ Σ_{d≤D} ρ(d) ≍ D log D = V log V/log^B V` while the main term is\n`≍ V/log²V`, so the ratio is `≍ log³V / log^{B}V` and **`B > 3` suffices** (C7: `10⁻²` at `log V = 100`,\n`B = 4`; `10⁻³` at `log V = 1000`). So `D ≍ V/log^B V` is a genuine level, the two-form majorant\n`64C₂e^{−2γ}log(3/2) = 5.4003 x/log x` **is** available, and it is excluded only because it is `8.3×` the\ndiagnostic threshold `0.6533` and `12.5×` the truth.\n\nWhat remains true from the earlier note: the *one-form* route is the one that needs BV, at level\n`V^{1/2} log^{−B}V`, and there the `u`-summation is free (`Σ_u V_u log^{−A}V_u ≪ x log^{−A}x · log(3/2)`).\n\n---\n\n## 6. Correction E — Maynard–Tao does not select the pair `{n, n+2}`\n\n§8 of the sieve-level note proposed \"the Maynard–Tao variational coefficient for a tuple containing\n`{0,2}`, with the pair distinguished\" as a TPC-relevant next step. **That framing is withdrawn.** The\nmultidimensional sieve guarantees that *some* bounded number of the tuple's positions are simultaneously\nprime for infinitely many `n`; it does not force any *named* pair, and no admissible-tuple optimization\nselects `{0,2}` without an extra argument. Any such computation is an auxiliary theorem about tuples, not\na route to twins, and is not to be presented as one.\n\n---\n\n## 7. Correction F — which constant the one-form route proves\n\nThree numbers have appeared, and only their *range* is robust:\n\n| chain | value (`x/log x`) | status |\n|---|---|---|\n| `mass × V₁` with the conditioned density `2C₂e^{−γ}/log z` | `1.2023` | direct computation (C9) |\n| the mission's `4C₂ ∫_{1/3}^{1/2} dt/(t(1−t)²)` | `3.15068084` | arithmetic verified (C9); the step-by-step derivation of the integrand is **not** reproduced anywhere, so this is a `FORMAL` normalization, not a proved constant |\n| the withdrawn unconditioned-product chain | `1.8212`, then `[2.433, 3.244]` after `F` | **superseded** (wrong density for a prime-supported sequence, plus a cruder weight) |\n\nThe *density* correction is settled and exact: `Π_{2<ℓ<z}(1−1/(ℓ−1)) = Π(1−1/ℓ)·Π(1−1/(ℓ−1)²) =\nC₂·(2e^{−γ}/log z) = 2C₂e^{−γ}/log z` (C8: ratio `0.66016 = C₂` at `z=10⁵`). Since the base sequence is\nsupported on primes, the sieve's relative density is `1/φ(d)`, i.e. the conditioned product — the earlier\nunconditioned `2e^{−γ}/log z` was the wrong object.\n\n**The honest statement is a range:** the one-form majorant is between `1.20` and `3.15` in units of\n`x/log x`, hence `1.8×` to `4.8×` the diagnostic threshold `0.6533`. Both ends exceed it, and both exceed\nthe truth `0.432`, so **the viability verdict does not depend on which normalization is right**.\n\n---\n\n## 8. What is unchanged\n\n* The exact Chen-fold identity `R = R₁ − ½R₂ + ½A₃ − ½R_□`, the certified minorant\n `W_x(m) ≤ 1_{Ω(m)≤2}`, and `2L = Σ_{Ω≥3 odd} a_n(k+b+e−2) ≥ 0` with `Q − R = 2T − 2L`.\n* The `k=2` hole: `R₁ − ½R₂ = ½Σ a_n λ(m)(2−k(m))` vanishes identically on `k(m)=2` and nowhere else.\n* The measured ledger at `x=10⁷` (diagnostic only, `x/log x` units): `Q=1.3809`, `R=0.0510`, `T=0.6756`,\n `A₁=2.516`, `M₂=0.4320`, `A₃=0.1544`, certified `c₀=C₂/40=0.0165`.\n* The single open estimate: a lower bound of order `x/log x` for the signed remainder at fixed shift `2`,\n which is the parity barrier. `S₁ < 0` remains permitted but unsupported; the measured value is `+0.263`.\n* **Category C.** No claim of progress on TPC, and none in this document.\n\n---\n\n## 9.
