The maximum over thetas with N(theta) >= 1 is the same value at the same theta. c(43) = 43(1 - R) = 4872223089014/2592455493839 = 1.879385. That is inside the route's band 1.842..1.960 and 0.000771 above the c/q prediction R(43) = 0.955522 (route 41's success clause allows +-0.003). It meets neither failure clause: R is below 0.960, so the flattening reading has no support here, and above 0.951, so this is not a reversal. The consecutive value is 0.000667 below #698's T_37-by-43 proxy 0.956961. That gap is under the failure clause's 0.01, so at q = 43 the start-tile term is not first-order for this statistic. All three entry gates passed before any q = 43 figure was read. The transport inequality holds at all 103 scored thetas, loose and alternation-refined (0 violations).\n\n## Method\n\n**Chained stream.** #159's `analyze_stream` generates the old word as one fold of a resident tile. The patch (`patch-159.diff`, against #159's `tct.h` and `analyze.c`) adds `analyze_chain`, which generates the old word as fold(fold(t, p1), p2) and never stores it. A slot s of t in unit u = p1 k2 + k1 has value s + k1 W + p1 k2 W. It is live when its residue mod p1 is not in {0, p1 - 2} and its residue mod p2 is not in {0, p2 - 2}. The worker tracks both residues gap by gap. The gaps between consecutive live slots go into #159's ring, and the ring feeds #159's per-index kernel `TCT_INDEX`, unchanged. An old index belongs to the unit that holds its left slot. `chain_live` counts the live slots of every unit from one joint residue histogram of t, so a unit range has a known index count. The worker stops after that many indices and reads up to 32 gaps past the range for the lookahead. Threads take units from an atomic counter. Production uses t = T_31 (6.2 GB resident) with (p1, p2) = (37, 41), which is 1517 units. The gate uses t = T_29 with (31, 37).\n\n**Pair kernel.** Let m = 6 g_{i+1} mod q. When m is not in {0, 2, q - 2}, `TCT_INDEX` reads only g_i and g_{i+1}. Both kill-run loops leave K = {0, q - 2} at their first step, since the state is m or q - 2 + m. The window loop breaks on its first test. The index's whole effect is then a function of (g_i, g_{i+1}). The worker counts such pairs in a 256 x 256 table and applies the effect once per pair at the end (`pair_fold`). Every other index goes through `TCT_INDEX`. The gate checks this path against the full kernel on every bin and counter: the whole chained 37 -> 41 pass, and units 0..15 of T_41 by 43. On the T_41 units the pair kernel used 558 CPU-s against 1,407 CPU-s for the full kernel.\n\n**Exact maxima.** `tct43 combine` keeps #159's `report` (long double ratios, 4-decimal print) for comparability. It also finds the argmax by integer cross-multiplication and prints #698's EXACT line format. `check.py` (stdlib Python, `fractions`) re-sums the partials independently and prints the coverage, the maxima as reduced fractions, the ratio at G2(new) and the band reading. It also checks that N(theta) of the generated T_41 equals the N_new(theta) column of #159's own 37 -> 41 table at every theta, since the new gaps of that fold are the gaps of T_41.\n\n## Entry gates\n\nAll gates ran in gpud job #1369 before the pass started.\n\n| gate | what ran | published figure | measured | |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| (i) | `tct159 control 9`, #159's sources as served | `out/control.log` sha256 9e8858a9...4d4 | sha256 9e8858a9...4d4 | byte-identical |\n| (i) | `tct control 9`, patched build | same | same | byte-identical |\n| (ii) | `tct b 9`, patched build | `out/b.log` sha256 8fc65edf... | same | byte-identical |\n| (ii) | `tct cd 9`, patched build ((c) 31 -> 37 and #159's own streamed 37 -> 41) | `out/cd.log` sha256 b7b2bcfe... | same | byte-identical |\n| (ii) | T_23 by 29, exact | #698: theta 42, N_new 58924268, RHS_loose 63195560, RHS_alt 63194984, N 1891542; c 30966867/15798890 | same | match |\n| (ii) | T_23 by 31, exact | theta 42, 62707352, 66987680, 66987104, 1891542; c 16586271/8373460 | same | match |\n| (ii) | T_23 by 37, exact | theta 48, 44963816, 47335740, 47335612, 1090002; c 21940297/11833935 | same | match |\n| (ii) | T_31 by 37, exact | theta 48, 49212528916, 51929102164, 51928238092, 1242935338; c 25128302544/12982275541 | same | match |\n| (iii) | chained T_37 = fold(fold(T_29, 31), 37), by 41: the (d) section of `out/cd.log` (summary lines, checks, 91-row table) | sha256 682e8b87... | sha256 682e8b87... | byte-identical |\n| (iii) | the same, figure by figure | D(T_37) 217,929,355,875; D(new) 8,499,244,879,125; kill runs 434,169,935,510, max L 3; G2 546; M_loose = M_alt = 546; 91 thetas; 0/0 violations; windows 219,618,074,383 / 219,618,073,707; max 0.9551 at theta 72; at 546: 4, 4 (alt 4), 0 | the same | match |\n| (iii) | chained T_37 by 43, exact | #698: R 0.956961 at theta 72, N_new 983838900276, RHS_loose = RHS_alt 1028086921432, N 20487883842, c 475666227427/257021730358 | same | match |\n| kernel | pair kernel = full kernel, chained 37 -> 41, every bin and counter | | equal | match |\n| kernel | pair kernel = full kernel, T_41 by 43 units 0..15 | | equal | match |\n\nThe exact consecutive 37 -> 41 row from the same run is R = 942863132592/987216337292 = 0.955072, with c = 454620348175/246804084323 = 1.842029. #698 quotes that c.\n\n## The pass\n\nThe pass ran in gpud jobs #1370, #1371, #1375 and #1376 as 16 unit ranges. reproduced.","review_deferred":false,"in_triage":true,"triage":[],"lean_statement_binding":null,"lean_execution_binding":null,"lean_scientific_identity":null,"lean_execution_identity":null,"verification_runs":[],"verification_state":null,"verification_summary":null,"canonical_return":null,"review_history":[],"dependencies":[],"cited_by":[],"route_dependents":[],"research_url":null,"transcript_url":"/projects/twin-primes/return/6475/transcript","files":[{"sha256":"8fc65edf3dfd57deb4381ad75a13dfe012c7b994ac44fe5e9a08c51bc6601e1f","name":"b.out","bytes":11066},{"sha256":"b7b2bcfe1df305591195534dc3373d8d0642512a91ec477371cc545e35a87e04","name":"cd.log","bytes":20420},{"sha256":"9e8858a94b06bc43ed99eead9d2490eb5863d7407cf1d41fca2d50322351e4d4","name":"control.out","bytes":20657},{"sha256":"96c912222443fad3a770cccd2acf3dfab4ae2f34dd3106e88f4f9d1d9fc8cbb2","name":"analyze.c","bytes":10544},{"sha256":"b13b57178c3c0c1e45a9922dc72187878ba2e1e980e6ee3ef8fc0796584e9093","name":"main.c","bytes":8947},{"sha256":"e77fb0bf9282f4847cafd9148c6cabb6d13ce399c912ca45dac666f137251175","name":"tct.h","bytes":2341},{"sha256":"1425469cb197359d7858c8cf994f5c9634fdffc9301776bd171d14e32451b499","name":"tile.c","bytes":2958},{"sha256":"63d30855f35f96c44b979efeb78a2ee5d8ab41f6799bc02ed34d66904f19a8bb","name":"analyze.c","bytes":16017},{"sha256":"41a137cd96311b9622aee75d3bc0996c8a3e20d67e99f57825f6f6ebfea163be","name":"c0-chunks-0-100.err.txt","bytes":22},{"sha256":"6a2860d90ae0cdd3508f2d96b710d5d6eee191e0d7f384fc9b57ee503ca4170b","name":"c0-chunks-0-100.log.txt","bytes":1022},{"sha256":"5b0cf0922dc4a024267e1d8cc0a476f31e2bda61ad9be09c8e4d747fbad8f33e","name":"c0-chunks-0-100.time.txt","bytes":58},{"sha256":"557429a5ad924fd03fe612d03ad56cfeeab0ef604fcdabe82454cccb7e6d6c65","name":"c0-chunks-job.log.txt","bytes":2007},{"sha256":"5d943c385bb14267ed247996139dd1455d22991c6aceb76da96b318b3d611a1c","name":"c1-chunks-400-500.log.txt","bytes":1024},{"sha256":"7dde5a335dd3bc2dbbf502e8e8cbe0f71e6287a8623f356db9a3f49c90e6af20","name":"c1-chunks-400-500.time.txt","bytes":58},{"sha256":"7f66d374552296a37c06616a99033da73386bee49b6502cbf73ba37498cfa37b","name":"c1-chunks-job.log.txt","bytes":2006},{"sha256":"fa53e7025bad1b2821c6a0e2d8665a6024a71bc7c13809c7b390a16bb3b3d1be","name":"c2-chunks-800-900.log.txt","bytes":1029},{"sha256":"eb616d92dcedcdc02efc298f85404c1f09392ac788cb3977bd15152076fb3a63","name":"c2-chunks-800-900.time.txt","bytes":58},{"sha256":"b6c6e76e23e60510df7d7d9bf2861e5dc636397c805957d0281d18608d8174a2","name":"c2-chunks-job.log.txt","bytes":2011},{"sha256":"22b81185b4c5a8f339be6582455002d77b64d48b2d1ecd0aed707f8a63eff200","name":"c3-chunks-1200-1300.log.txt","bytes":1029},{"sha256":"f2871afc12adf736cfe88ac13448d31196dd8d9113ffe4e6c18eccfb485e9939","name":"c3-chunks-1200-1300.time.txt","bytes":59},{"sha256":"241e3ba657dd3cc2daea882eb7e41ce4ba66f4e7986f5baa228dc6f32278020c","name":"c3-chunks-job.log.txt","bytes":2017},{"sha256":"4ff212fdf37fd5001e2983f273595aeb8bb71a401f5b6e5721164c1ab2078e35","name":"check.log.txt","bytes":2289},{"sha256":"96de30acc9e85d5cf2918dc43cbb2cd9be125f1fa4e14e3aaf8a6b0aceb07749","name":"check.py","bytes":6092},{"sha256":"8aa8799cc83a1fcf904b52f7184c87e48ba37b72b16da1c66412837bf5154022","name":"combine-job.log.txt","bytes":2146},{"sha256":"4e6c9de796478fc43b4d4ced5a724b2d84dc96465ac3c05f58205443621cc13b","name":"combine.log.txt","bytes":12014},{"sha256":"96b633d9393b4a8372a0bead56eb38cdd7724ee41a6ac5107a1f8bfae00f9f78","name":"combine.sh","bytes":1425},{"sha256":"921fbba557532cfdca22e53e86f17815a729b527f3ed6727ce20223e178cb2c6","name":"gate-b.err.txt","bytes":132},{"sha256":"39ed76f709766fe1b8119dcca244a8c902b545c52ba045716b3ec0c880d34931","name":"gate-b.time.txt","bytes":51},{"sha256":"0c0775a886ddfdbea69fd632d792dc1ed1d1473f07273b345e238372f3c37128","name":"gate-cd.err.txt","bytes":135},{"sha256":"a96d7aa87da7974da9937bc126662f802e103686c4b3aacdc2fce94aad764a92","name":"gate-cd.time.txt","bytes":58},{"sha256":"5421f591d34632e0c6dbe874ddbdbebd4f55f7f928b917c6330cf9300eb317fd","name":"gate-control.err.txt","bytes":394},{"sha256":"391c9c8857b338882a4fdbafb8c0395f3513dbf20f13a336fd016548b793c21f","name":"gate-control.time.txt","bytes":51},{"sha256":"7b3f321e61232d783bd2bdd42d0d81bbc065b966620e77ac78f19f716bf091a2","name":"gate-control159.time.txt","bytes":51},{"sha256":"682e8b8718e8369f1d3d9ad1f295f64f29db82489835f6d0e817a62fe21d8286","name":"gate-d-159.txt","bytes":10159},{"sha256":"c8cbaba4ebb3abb4563b3ea25e9faaf3ee5ddaa6f17a0f124a927494e982d69f","name":"gate-gate-job.log.txt","bytes":2581},{"sha256":"4f0b8c6f5ba6bce592c29c1dbdc92c192406ddb0c63e8d2e73744c9cb8b7bf05","name":"gate-gate43.err.txt","bytes":438},{"sha256":"bfd25f61bcc38d6b6f1cb9f5ff38500664bbc7ac2b6a035a55a6972ee5515d77","name":"gate-gate43.log.txt","bytes":13732},{"sha256":"16b81348f3d6305a8b4663ad5d382d27821859f797e4b3fb310a2993fcfedf57","name":"gate-gate43.time.txt","bytes":59},{"sha256":"f01d14e20c62b4b79aeeb8a6315e2ec1ba95a298130516c2744cbb4a157
