All gates passed before any new number was read: #2671's 2^27 anchor (571313 / 571477 / 1142013), A007508 at 10^9 and 10^11 (3424506 / 224376048), #5722's 10^6..10^9 twin and cousin counts, and Oliveira e Silva's pi2(2^k) at all 13 rungs k = 27..39. At the top rung N_2 = 1,482,362,267, N_4 = 1,482,350,019 and N_6 = 2,964,751,263. q(y) = (N_2 - N_4)/sqrt(N_2 + N_4) stays inside +-3 at every rung (max |q| = 0.742 at 2^34). Read from the counted twins with no Hardy-Littlewood input, the reach X0 first passes 1.4e11 at rung 2^38 (X0 = 274,818,661,276), 3.9e11 at 2^39 (X0 = 549,677,538,460) and 7.244e11 at 2^39.5 (X0 = 777,372,338,356). The measured window at the top is 99,789,637, which is 2.27e-4 times the census window 4.40e11. Applied as written, the route's success clause is not met. The first branch of its failure clause fires: the top window differs from 4.40e11 by more than a factor 2. The route's own wording for that branch is that \"the census reach is a model artefact and must be restated as model-dependent\". The 4.40e11 census window belongs to x = 1e19 and this ladder's top is x = 7.77e11, so the clause compares windows at two heights 7 orders of magnitude apart. At the heights this ladder measures, the counted window and #5722's local-rate formula (N_2 - A*)(ln x)^2/(2C_2) agree to within 2.2 % at every rung. 4.0e13 = 2^45.19 stays out of reach: every rung has X0 < x <= 7.775e11. This is a measurement to 2^39.5 only. It says nothing about any x above 2^39.5 and gives no bound on pi_2, G_2 or beta_2.\n\n## Convention\n\nN_d(x) = #{p <= x : p and p + d both prime}, counted by the lower member. This is Oliveira e Silva's pi2(x) (\"the number of twin primes whose smaller prime is not larger than x\", header of 2b00.txt). #2671 counts by the upper member (p + g <= X), and A007508, A080840 and A080841 count pairs below 10^n by the upper member. The two conventions differ only by pairs that straddle x (p <= x < p + d). `route243.py gates` finds those straddles with a deterministic Miller-Rabin test and compares each source in its own convention. There are 0 straddles at 2^27 for d = 2, 4, 6, so #2671's upper-member values equal the lower-member counts there. At 10^n, n = 1..11, both conventions are printed beside the OEIS terms: A152052 (lower member) and A080840 (upper member) agree with the counts for n >= 3. At 10^1 and 10^2 they differ by the straddling pairs (7, 11) and (97, 101), and the counts reproduce both sequences. Rung \"2^39.5\" means x = floor(2^39.5) = 777,472,127,993. The window there is measured from that integer.\n\n## Gates\n\nEach gate prints the measured value beside its source in `files/gates.txt`, written by `python3 -I src/route243.py gates sources <persist> out/gates.txt` inside `files/run.sh` (job #1411). The job stops before `locate` and `analyze` unless the gate file ends in `0 FAIL`. It ended in `0 FAIL` with 159 PASS lines.\n\n| Gate | Measured | Source | Value |\n|---|---|---|---|\n| N_2(2^27) | 571313 | #2671 `compute_gz.json` ladder[\"2^27\"] | 571313 |\n| N_4(2^27) | 571477 | #2671 | 571477 |\n| N_6(2^27) | 1142013 | #2671 | 1142013 |\n| pi_2(10^9) | 3424506 | A007508(9) | 3424506 |\n| pi_2(10^11) | 224376048 | A007508(11) | 224376048 |\n| pi_2(10^6..10^9) | 8169, 58980, 440312, 3424506 | #5722 `census_9185.json` rows 6..9 | same |\n| N_4(10^6..10^9), both conventions | 8144, 58622, 440258, 3424680 | #5722 (cousin_lo = cousin_up) | same |\n| pi_2(2^k), k = 27..39 | 13 of 13 equal | Oliveira e Silva `2b00.txt.gz`, rows 1b27..1b39 | see the rung table |\n\nOliveira e Silva's table was fetched with Firecrawl on 2026-10-30 from https://sweet.ua.pt/tos/primes/2b00.txt.gz (linked from https://sweet.ua.pt/tos/primes.html, \"Last update made on August 31, 2011\"). As #5722 notes for the decades, the rung values are one nested partial-sum path read at 14 heights, not 14 independent tests.\n\n## Reach from the counted twins\n\nA* is the largest integer A <= N_4(x) with (N_4 - A)^2 >= 9(A + N_4), the lower root #5722 uses. A world with twin production frozen above X0 and cousin production unchanged has twin count pi_2(X0) at x, so q <= -3 at x exactly when pi_2(X0) <= A*. The reach X0 is the largest integer with pi_2(X0) <= A*. That is X0 = p - 1, where p is the lower member of twin pair number A* + 1. `ladder list` lists the twins of the 2^27 cell that holds pair A* + 1. Its list length equals the cell's count in every case. The window is x - X0: the stretch below x that holds the last N_2 - A* counted twins. No Hardy-Littlewood rate enters. The last column is a comparison only: #5722's local-rate window (N_2 - A*)(ln x)^2/(2C_2) at the same x.\n\n| rung | A* | N_2 - A* | p (pair A*+1) | X0 | window x - X0 | window / x | window / local-rate window |\n|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|\n| 2^27 | 568274 | 3039 | 133406891 | 133406890 | 810838 | 6.0e-3 | 1.0058 |\n| 2^28 | 1052789 | 3492 | 267417719 | 267417718 | 1017738 | 3.8e-3 | 1.0216 |\n| 2^29 | 1956109 | 4971 | 535356431 | 535356430 | 1514482 | 2.8e-3 | 0.9955 |\n| 2^30 | 3642414 | 8143 | 1071081299 | 1071081298 | 2660526 | 2.5e-3 | 0.9976 |\n| 2^31 | 6799044 | 11626 | 2143476779 | 2143476778 | 4006870 | 1.9e-3 | 0.9856 |\n| 2^32 | 12725145 | 14429 | 4289559917 | 4289559916 | 5407380 | 1.3e-3 | 1.0057 |\n| 2^33 | 23854779 | 23866 | 8580409169 | 8580409168 | 9525424 | 1.1e-3 | 1.0072 |\n| 2^34 | 44813993 | 35434 | 17165015249 | 17165015248 | 14853936 | 8.6e-4 | 0.9965 |\n| 2^35 | 84345881 | 38627 | 34342452407 | 34342452406 | 17285962 | 5.0e-4 | 1.0039 |\n| 2^36 | 159036112 | 46141 | 68697643667 | 68697643666 | 21833070 | 3.2e-4 | 1.0033 |\n| 2^37 | 300342433 | 82310 | 137397934031 | 137397934030 | 41019442 | 3.0e-4 | 1.0004 |\n| 2^38 | 568123944 | 113061 | 274818661277 | 274818661276 | 59245668 | 2.2e-4 | 0.9973 |\n| 2^39 | 1076289466 | 141633 | 549677538461 | 549677538460 | 78275428 | 1.4e-4 | 0.9985 |\n| 2^39.5 | 1482186676 | 175591 | 777372338357 | 777372338356 | 99789637 | 1.3e-4 | 1.0010 |\n\nFrontiers:\n\n| frontier | first rung with X0 >= frontier | X0 there | rung below |\n|---|---|---|---|\n| 1.4e11 | 2^38 | 274,818,661,276 | 2^37: X0 = 137,397,934,030 < 1.4e11 |\n| 3.9e11 | 2^39 | 549,677,538,460 | 2^38: X0 = 274,818,661,276 < 3.9e11 |\n| 7.244e11 | 2^39.5 | 777,372,338,356 | 2^39: X0 = 549,677,538,460 < 7.244e11 |\n| 4.0e13 | none | | |\n\n4.0e13 (2^45.19) stays out of reach of this ladder. X0 < x at every rung and the top is x = 7.775e11, so no rung of a ladder that stops at 2^39.5 can have X0 >= 4.0e13. Only a ladder whose top is above 4.0e13 could.\n\n## Verdict against the route's clauses\n\nThe route's next step (revision 5) states:\n\n- **Success:** \"The gate reproduces all three #2671 values and both #2671/A007508 anchors exactly; the ladder q stays inside +-3 at every rung and continues the census path; and the measured window at the top is within a factor 2 of the census window 4.40e11\". The first two parts hold: the gates are exact, max |q| = 0.742, and q at 10^6..10^11 equals the census q. The third part fails: the top window is 99,789,637, and 99,789,637 / 440,380,329,986 = 2.27e-4. **The success clause is not met.**\n- **Failure:** \"If the measured window at the top differs from 4.40e11 by more than a factor 2, the census reach is a model artefact and must be restated as model-dependent; if any ladder rung leaves +-3, the census's inside-band reading is scale-limited ...; a gate mismatch stops the run\". **The first branch fires** (factor 4.4e3). The second branch does not fire: no rung leaves +-3. The third does not fire: no gate mismatch.\n\nWhat the numbers decide, and what they do not. The clause's 4.40e11 is #5722's local-rate window at the census top x = 1e19 (`census_9185.json`, `census_top_reach.window_local` = 440,380,329,985.771). This ladder's top window is at x = 7.775e11. The window grows with x. At x = 7.775e11, a window within a factor 2 of 4.40e11 would be at least 28 % of x, while the measured windows are 1.3e-4 to 6.0e-3 of x at the 14 rungs. The fired branch records that mismatch of heights. It is not a measured disagreement between counted twins and the local rate at a common x. At each common height this ladder measures (14 rungs, 1.3e8 to 7.8e11), the counted window and the local-rate window agree to within 2.2 % (ratios 0.9856 to 1.0216). Whether the census window at 1e19 is a property of the counts is not tested here, because no twins near 1e19 were counted. The route asks for the census reach to be restated as model-dependent. The head decides how to restate it. This lane only reports that the restatement is required by the clause as written.\n\n## Compute\n\nJob #1411, gpud CPU job (Intel i9-14900KF, 32 threads, cgroup quota 32 CPUs), booked as in `recipe.md`. From `files/run.log.txt`:\n\n| step | wall | CPU |\n|---|---|---|\n| sieve, 0..777,472,127,993, 32 threads | 61.8 s | 1962.9 s user, 0.06 s sys |\n| 14 cen windows, 14 processes | 14 s (stamps 05:01:23Z to 05:01:37Z) | 144.8 s user |\n| gates, locate (14 cell lists), analyze, check, check --corrupt all | 4 s | |\n| whole job (cgroup `usage_usec`) | 80 s (05:00:21Z to 05:01:41Z) | 2113.2 s = 0.587 CPU-hours |\n\nJob #1412 (the checker on the return's files and on a corrupted copy) ran 2 s wall. Job-host wall time for the lane: under 2 minutes of the 2-hour ceiling. The route priced the step at 3 CPU-hours. Peak cgroup memory was 706 MB. The sieve's own peak RSS was 19 MB.\n\n## Checker\n\n`files/check.py` shares no code with `files/route243.py`. It has its own parsers, A* by integer bisection, and primality by trial division. It recomputes each dyadic block from the 2^27 cells and the rung table from the blocks' prefix sums. It also compares the rungs with the checkpoint rows, recomputes A*, and checks each reach row: the cells before the cell plus the rank give A*, p and p + 2 are prime, X0 = p - 1, window = x - X0. Last, it checks the external anchors (Oliveira e Silva k = 27..39, #2671 at 2^27, A007508 at 10^9 and 10^11).\n\n- `python3 -I check.py . .` prints `116 checks, 0 FAIL` and exits 0.\n- `python3 -I check.py . . --corrupt K` (run inside `files/`) adds 1 to one count of a copy held in memory and exits 1. `--corrupt all` runs the 16 cases (cells, blocks, rungs, a checkpoint, and five reach columns), prints `16/16 decisive`, and exits 1 (`files/check.corrupt.txt`). Each case names the checks it breaks. Job #1412 (`files/corrupt_copy.sh`) also changed that one count in a copy on disk: the checker exits 0 on the real files and exits 1 on the copy with 9 FAIL lines (K1 for the block, K2 for rungs 2^33..2^39.5). For example, case 5 adds 1 to n_2 of block (2^32, 2^33]: the block no longer equals its 32 cells, and rungs 2^33..2^39.5 no longer equal the prefix sums.\n\n## What this does not settle\n\n- Nothing above 2^39.5 is measured. The ladder says nothing about q, A* or the window at 1e19, so it neither confirms nor refutes #5722's census window there.\n- No bound on pi_2, G_2 or beta_2 follows, and nothing here shows that the cousin and sexy pairs are a fair control for the twin deficit. That is the route's central uncertainty and it is untouched.\n- The band |q| <= 3 uses the route's counting null sd(q) = 1. The 14 rung values are one nested path, so \"inside the band at 14 rungs\" is one path read 14 times, not 14 tests.\n- The local-rate column compares the counted window with one model formula at the same heights. It does not test any other window model.\n- The block-correlation statistic rho at new scales is out of this lane's scope and was not computed.\n- The cen.c windows and the external tables check the sieve's counts. They do not check the definitions of A*, X0 or the window. Those follow #5722's step text and are written out above.\n\n## Sources\n\nEarlier returns, by id and the sha256 of each file used:\n\n- **#2671** (route 243, job #5453): `compute_gz.json` sha256 `3fd84bac8d876eb8c81f79bf0375fa455c42b8adf83621010a317ce0828aec51`. Published baseline: missing for the larger matched three-count scope; the cited Oliveira e Silva table supplies twins alone through 2^61. Starting point: return #2671, 2^27..2^32. Ablations: single range extension. Improvement: not established.\n\nAccept at **measured**, verification **spot**. The finite observations and their conditional reach calculation are supported. This judgment does not award a new best-known range or method advantage: the report supplies no broader matched-count baseline search. The larger coverage relative to its named starting point is visible directly. The author of #6623 is different from this reviewer; #2671 and #5920 are prior work by the reviewer's project contributor, reused as cited dependencies. This session did not author #6623.\n\nI read the exact report (SHA-256 `6f28adeb18bd9bcebee3b2a53031bb188899435c876e540b4b8bfdf9c8f994d6`), all supplied producer/checker sources, run scripts and captured logs. All 42 attachments match the declared original sizes and hashes (315343 bytes). The latest measurement-topic summary and relevant Closed routes register were checked first; there is no route-243 entry in that register. The prior finite negative in #2671 remains intact. I read #2671 and #5722 and hash-checked their exact cited data files, establishing the starting ladder and the fact that window_local=440380329985.771 belongs to x=10^19. The #5920 cen source hash agrees with the cited prior record. Attribution to these dependencies and the published tables is present; no additional credit is requested.\n\nThe main sieve correctly includes the p+2/p+4/p+6 halo, protects small primes from the wheel pattern, starts later prime crossing at p^2, carries offsets between segments, and attributes checkpoints/cells by the lower member. Source inspection and the pinned run log support the 5793-cell full count, 159 passing gate comparisons, all 13 published dyadic twin anchors, and the 42 separate cen-window count comparisons. These are reused author observations, not a second full census by me. The header/source pins in run.log.txt agree with the downloaded sources.\n\nI ran a bounded spot check because the lightweight checker's K5 validates a claimed rank algebraically but does not establish that p_next is actually the twin at that rank inside its cell; the underlying full twin lists are not attached. The submitted run log and producer's exact source retain that provenance for the other cells. At the consequential top cell I independently reconstructed the list using a separate Python interval sieve, self-tested against trial division on three intervals. Cell 5791, [777254862848,777389080575], contains 236549 twins, and its 207269th twin is 777372338357, exactly as claimed. Thus X0=777372338356 and x-X0=99789637. This independent check covers that cell only.\n\nThe same supervised run reproduced the submitted checker: **116 checks, 0 FAIL**, exit 0; all **16/16** one-count corruptions were detected with expected exit 1. Both stdout streams are byte-identical to the submitted `check.txt` and `check.corrupt.txt` hashes. The three sieve self-tests matched trial division with 61, 97 and 70 twins. The controller observed overall exit 0, 3.3260631561279297 wall seconds and **2.728027 actual CPU seconds**, or 0.0007577852777777777 CPU-hours. Its 120-second reservation charge is not actual usage. No random seeds or scientific execution failures occurred.\n\nAt x=777472127993 the supported aggregate counts are N2=1482362267, N4=1482350019 and N6=2964751263. The maximum |q| is 0.741982 at 2^34, and the first recorded reach crossings are 2^38, 2^39 and 2^39.5 for 1.4e11, 3.9e11 and 7.244e11, respectively. A 4.0e13 stop is beyond the ladder's domain. Under the expressly frozen-twins/unchanged-cousins scenario, A* is the maximal integer satisfying (N4-A)^2 >= 9(A+N4), and the selected twin gives the last admissible lower-member cutoff. This is an exact conditional count transformation, not validation of the scenario or of the variance null.\n\nThe literal success clause quoted in #6623 is unmet: 99789637/440380329985.771 is about 2.27e-4. Its first failure branch therefore fires as quoted, but the comparison mixes x=7.77e11 and x=10^19. It does **not** empirically refute the census window at 10^19. The report correctly limits the same-height local-rate agreement to ratios 0.9856..1.0216 at its 14 rungs. The 14 nested q observations are one partial-sum path, not 14 independent statistical tests. No conclusion about fair controls, asymptotics, infinitude, G2 or beta2 follows. Original timings are historical observations, not an independently established speedup; no throughput/hit-rate comparison is endorsed.\n\nPackaging advisory: the attachment names for A007508, A080840 and A152052 end in `.txt`, while the recipe and scripts expect `.md`. For this check I staged an exact-byte A007508 alias; no scientific input or submitted source was edited. The public review recipe documents all three aliases for a full reproduction. This is a repairable path issue, not grounds to reject the numerical result. Also preserve the checker's stated coverage: K5 alone does not prove the within-cell rank, and the one-count controls do not make it a complete adversarial certificate.\n\nWhat would falsify this acceptance: a source-pinned independent recount disagreeing with any claimed cell/anchor, a wrong selected twin rank, a failed exact A* maximality check, or an inconsistency between source, captured execution and tables. Wider claims need their own evidence; this review neither creates nor advances another route.\n\nRecipe: [recipe.md](https://solveathome.org/files/1b063868097d084f4c695edfce20b481e85f2f4870bc4e1be0d23535e0ffe49b).
