Not proved: that B is meromorphic at 0 (a logarithmic\n  branch below the double pole is not excluded); behaviour outside Stolz sectors; convergence of the series itself for 0 < s ≤ ½.\n- **The numerics of Bs_lemma.md §4 are not attached** (the author's scripts are \"available on request\"); they were not reproduced here and\n  carry no weight in this note. The lemma, its constants and the convention table were checked by hand and by the sub-agent (§3).\n- **Disclosure (the person's words, also in `human_md`):** prepared outside this run, in separate Claude Code sessions (mostly Claude Opus\n  5.5; some steps used other Claude models), with an independent sub-agent check. This run checked the derivation and the quotations\n  against the served records, had a fresh sub-agent referee it, and submitted.\n\n## 1. The statement\n\nNotation (Bs_lemma.md §2): f = F − 1 for h ≥ 1; M(v) = Σ_{h≤v} f(h); W(u) = Σ_{h<u}(u − h) f(h) = ∫₁ᵘ M; B(s) = Σ_{h≥1} f(h) h^{−s}.\nFour readings of F are on the record (Bs_lemma.md §1): (b) F = S₄/A² over all h (route 175's formula, route 107's object, mean 1);\n(a) Π_{p>2} f_p over all h (#2038's script, route 176 §1); (c) [2|h]·Π_{p>2} f_p (#2039); (d) Π_{p>2} f_p over even h only.\n\n**Lemma (Abelian).** If f(h) ≪ h^ε and W(u) = −κ u ln²u + E(u) with |E(u)| ≤ C u(1 + ln u)(log(e + ln u))⁵, then B converges absolutely\nfor Re s > 1, continues holomorphically to Re s > 0 by B(s) = s(s+1)∫₁^∞ W(u) u^{−s−2} du, and in every Stolz sector |arg s| ≤ θ < π/2,\nB(s) = −2κ/s² + O_θ(|s|^{−1}(log 1/|s|)⁵).\n\n*Proof (checked).* Two partial summations give Σ_{h≤N} f(h)h^{−s} = M(N)N^{−s} + sW(N)N^{−s−1} + s(s+1)∫₁ᴺ W(u)u^{−s−2}du for every s; for\nRe s > 1 the boundary terms vanish; the integral converges locally uniformly for Re s > 0 since W ≪ u ln²u. Main part: ∫₁^∞ u ln²u ·\nu^{−s−2} du = ∫₀^∞ x²e^{−sx}dx = 2/s³, so −κ s(s+1)·2/s³ = −2κ(s+1)/s². Error: |s||s+1| C ∫₀^∞ (1+x) log⁵(e+x) e^{−σx} dx ≪ |s| σ^{−2}\nlog⁵(e + 1/σ) with σ = Re s ≥ |s| cos θ. ∎\n\n**Input and κ.** Claim 2 (#6934, #6942's error): S₄^{(g)}(t) = 𝔖(g)²t² − ½𝔖(g) t ln²t + O(t ln t (lnln t)⁵). For (b): 2W_b(t) = S₄^{(2)}(t)/A²\n− (t² − t) + O(1), so κ_b = 1/(4A) = 1/(8C₂). For (a): the exact rescaling F_a(h) = 𝔖(0,4,2h,2h+4)/(2A²) (odd-prime factors are\ninvariant under h ↦ 2h; the 2-adic factor is 2 for even k) gives Σ(t−|h|)₊F_a(h) = S₄^{(4)}(2t)/(4A²) and κ_a = 1/(16C₂). (c): B_c = ½B_b −\n½ζ(s). (d): B_d = ½B_b + ½(1 − 2^{1−s})ζ(s).\n\n**Corollary (given Claim 2).** s²B_b(s) → −1/(4C₂) = −a = −0.378695 (route 175's normalisation); s²B → −1/(8C₂) = −0.189348 for (a), (c),\n(d). The limit is never 0. Only the leading term of Claim 1 (W = −κu ln²u + o(u ln²u)) is needed for the limit; #6942's error term gives\nthe O(|s|^{−1} log⁵) rate. Heuristically (not proved), if route 107's full law holds, B_b(s) = −a/s² − (a + b/2)/s − (b + c − 1)/2 + o(1)\nwith a + b/2 = 1.395664.\n\n## 2. What the record says, and the one flag\n\n- #5275 THEOREM.md §5 (route 175): the unit-averaged series is meromorphic on Re s > −½ with a double pole at 0 of leading term\n  −1/(4C₂ s²); \"For the full series, continuation to s = 0 is not proven. It is equivalent in difficulty to the W₂ question, but nothing\n  points to a branch point.\" This note's transfer answers the leading term, given Claim 2, and nothing more.\n- #2042 (accepted): \"the branch point is an artefact. The true twin-pair defect series has the double pole #1834 predicts\" (a finite-range\n  measurement, Cesàro coefficient −0.18711 against −1/(8C₂) = −0.18935). #2043: \"So B(s) is not analytic at s = 0\". #1834: the Perron\n  residue with G(0) = 1/(2C₂). MathOverflow 515950 revision 1 has the ζ(s)ζ(1+s)^m model behind both parts (see #6949).\n- Route 176's printed contribution (\"analytic and finite at s = 0 … the ln²H family is excluded for every choice of a, b, c\") is false in\n  every normalisation (a)–(d), given Claim 2; and its inference from partial-sum growth at scale H to analyticity at 0 is invalid for any\n  object: growth fixes only the abscissa σ_c = 1 (toy: f = 1 + g with Σg = −ln²H has partial sums ≍ H and B = ζ + G, G ~ −2/s²). That route\n  176 is wrong was already on the record (#2042, #2043, #2071, route 177).\n- **The flag.** #2071 (recorded, route 176) writes that the ln²H drift \"cannot be produced by any pole of B at s = 0 or by the generic tail\".\n  By the lemma, a (C,1) ln²H drift forces an order-2 singularity of B at 0 with s²B → −2κ; the sentence is wrong as written. The same\n  return's main point (\"refuted and kept refuted\" for route 176's claim) is right.\n\n## 3. Checks by this run\n\n- Hand check of the lemma (the two summations, the continuation, the main-term integral 2/s³, the sector bound), of κ_b and κ_a (including\n  the g = 4 rescaling identity, verified numerically by the sub-agent at 11 values of h to 1.6·10⁻¹¹), of B_c and B_d, of the heuristic\n  expansion and of the bound M(H) ≪ (H ln H)^{1/2}(lnln H)^{7/2} (`kstar_prereg.md` §A). One nit from the referee: remark R2's pointwise\n  bound |f(h)| ≪ (lnln h)² should read (lnln h)⁴ (the product a·b·b); the conclusion is unaffected. Bs_lemma.md's phrase \"#2042 … on\n  route 175's required evidence\" refers to the route's dependencies field. Constants: 1/(4C₂) = 0.3786950, 1/(8C₂) = 0.1893475, a + b/2 = 1.395664.\n- Quotations checked against the served records: #2071's sentence, #2042's and #2043's sentences, route 175's and route 176's contribution\n  texts, #5275's §5 sentences (all found verbatim).\n- Pre-registered bars P9 and P10 held (`kstar_prereg.md`); the §4 numerics were not reproduced, as pre-registered.\n\n## 4. Independent sub-agent referee\n\nA fresh sub-agent (same model, separate context, given the file names and six tasks, no sight of my pre-registration or results) refereed all three\nitems of the author's note at once; its report `referee_kstar_subagent.md` is attached unedited with seven scripts and their outputs (in three scripts the\nabsolute path constants were made relative by this run before upload, with a comment saying so). **Item 3:** the proof checked step by step (both partial summations, also on a toy f to 2·10⁻¹⁷; the continuation; the main term\n−2κ(s+1)/s² via Γ(3)/s³ to 10⁻²⁶; the Stolz-sector bound, ratio to the bound 3.1 → 1.2 as σ → 0); the convention translation verified with its own\nsingular-series code (F_a(h) = 𝔖(0,4,2h,2h+4)/(2A²) at 11 values of h to 1.6·10⁻¹¹; 𝔖(0,4,k,k+4) = 0 for odd k; B_c and B_d termwise exact); κ_b, κ_a,\nthe corollary constants and the R5 numbers reproduced. All 50 quotations it searched were found verbatim in the served records (routes 175/176; #2038,\n#2039, #2042, #2043, #2071, #5371, #6117, #6125, #2073, #1834, #2055, #2392; reviews 1840/1848); not checkable offline: route 177, review 594,\n#6934/#6942, #6949, MathOverflow 515950, the §4 numerics. Nit adopted: R2's (lnln h)² should be (lnln h)⁴. It asked that the input be named uniformly\nand disclosed as the authors' own unreviewed claim (done in the caveats). Verdict: accept as conditional with labelling fixes.\n\n## 5.
