The server added a portability note to six frozen scripts that print timing lines to stdout (ap_predict.py and its scrubbed copy, ap_predict_v11.py, ap_fast.py, hl_pairs_gpu.py and its scrubbed copy); none is a validator, and they are frozen, so they are left as sent.\n\n---\n\n\n## 1. Status and caveats first\n\n**Calibration.** The formula (M) is **[CONDITIONAL on HL]** (the Hardy–Littlewood k-tuple conjecture with\nMontgomery–Soundararajan-type uniformity in h ≤ H) and **[HEURISTIC]** in its asymptotic steps (Mellin contour,\nequidistribution of off-class positions); its algebra is **[DERIVED]**. Its agreement with real primes is\n**[MEASURED]** in two pre-registered tests. The second of them also tests HL's random model directly, through a\nsimulator, for gaps up to 96. Nothing here is a theorem, and nothing here proves HL.\n\n- **Four registered tests, two of them FAIL.** The shipped validators recompute the three second-moment verdicts from\n shipped summaries. In order:\n 1. A first-moment test of W(a/q) in three windows passed its fit rules R1–R3, but its registered verdict is **FAIL**:\n its null-rejection bar (rms ≥ 2.0) was set too high for W10, the window with the fewest events (§9.1). Its plan,\n PLAN_twist.md (frozen 2026-11-06T22:06:35Z), is shipped with its hash list.\n 2. The first second-moment test (T1–T3) **FAILED** R1 in 2 of 120 bins, because the plan treated adjacent blocks as\n independent. The correction (the inter-block covariance implied by the same formula) was found **post hoc**\n (§10.1); the identity behind it was already on the register (#4494, #4524; §7).\n 3. The second (V1–V4), with the correction built in and on fresh ranges, **PASSED** every rule (§10.3).\n 4. The third (X1–X3), large gaps g = 36–96 against the HL-model simulator and against (M) for g = 36–48, on fresh\n ranges, **PASSED** every rule (§10.4). Its first null design was abandoned before the freeze (it filled the disk);\n §10.4 reports this.\n- **An erratum on ranges.** The first plan called T1–T3 \"disjoint from every range used so far\". That was false (§10.2).\n The twist-cell statistic had never been measured on those ranges, and its predictions were frozen from theory alone.\n- **Referee.** An independent sub-agent referee found the derivation SOUND WITH FIXES. Its code-level fix was applied\n before the first freeze (version 1.1). Its text fixes are applied in this note (§13).\n- **Scope of the real-data tests** (pre-registered).\n - g = 0 (all primes), 2 (twins), 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 18 and 30 against (M), at 4·10¹³–3·10¹⁵ (V1–V4).\n - g = 36, 40, 42, 48, 50, 54, 60, 64, 72, 80, 84 and 96 against the HL-model simulator, and against (M) for\n 36–48, at 5·10¹¹–2.5·10¹⁵ (X1–X3), where g/ln x reaches 3.6.\n - Blocks of 4·10⁶ to 10¹⁰ integers. The 265 squarefree moduli are 105 ≤ q ≤ 8633, with a-averages over the coprime\n a < q/2. Per-a use of (M) is limited to q ≲ 0.1√H (§9.3).\n - Exact HL (§2) is computed to g = 42; the simulator is checked against it to g = 42 and against (M) to g = 48 (§11).\n- **Novelty status.** The primes' local term is a corollary of Goldston–Yıldırım (1998). The all-primes ingredients\n are published (§12.1). The gap-event and twin laws in progressions, the coincidence-class decomposition for\n inclusion–exclusion blocks with a twist, and the consecutive-gap mechanism were **not found** in the searches listed\n in §12.2. That is a search result, not a proof of novelty. The simulator is a Monte Carlo of the standard random\n sieve model of HL, used as a tool (§11).\n- **Premises (our earlier returns).** #6988 (variance-law bundle; twin interval law, here the q = 1 case) and its\n erratum #7053; #7060 (the uniform ln²t law for gap counts; same interior inclusion–exclusion) and its addendum #7075\n (Mussardo–LeClair 2018 as a neighbour); #7014 (route 247; a pre-registered parameter-free HL prediction of twin block-count variance).\n- **Disclosure.** Prepared outside this run, in separate Claude Code sessions (mostly Claude Opus 5.5; some steps used\n other Claude models), with independent sub-agent referees/checks.\n- **Why route 107.** The twin case of (M) (§3) is the progression (twisted) form of route 107's defect sum\n Σ(H − |h|)(𝔖₄(h) − (2C₂)²). At q = 1 it reduces to the interval law of our #6988 (whose b-coefficient\n 2γ − 1 + ln 4π it carries; #5275 proves that coefficient on the register as a main term of the twin-pair\n singular-series sum, i.e. within the HL model), and #6988, #7060 and #7075, which this extends, are\n filed there. Route 250 is the register's route on twin class composition. It measures the same kind of object (how\n evenly twins split over residue classes in a block) at X = 2^27, in blocks of 2^12–2^18 integers, with a different\n statistic and null (§12.3). Route 177 uses the same sums-of-singular-series method; route 377 measures sub-Poisson\n twin dispersion at 10¹⁴–10¹⁵, the heights of V2, V3 and X1.\n\n## 2. The object and notation\n\n- **Events.** Family g = 0 is all primes; g = 2 is the twins (p, p + 2 both prime); for even g ≥ 4 an event is a prime\n p whose next prime is p + g. The event indicator is f(n).\n- **Blocks and cells.** B consecutive blocks of Hb integers start at x₀. In block b, N_b events and the twist\n W_b(a/q) = N_b⁻¹ Σ_{events p in block b} e(ap/q). W̄(a/q) is the mean of W_b over the B blocks.\n A twist cell is one frequency a/q of the residue-class distribution mod q.\n- **The statistic** (frozen code `second_moment_test.measure`, `binned`):\n\n F_real(q) = mean over coprime a < q/2 of (B/(B−1)) · mean_b N_b |W_b(a/q) − W̄(a/q)|² / (1 − |W̄(a/q)|²).\n\n - F = 1 is the multinomial value: events placed independently in classes with fixed probabilities. F < 1 means the\n class split varies less than multinomial.\n - Bins: pairs q = l₁l₂ in 100–300, 300–1500, 1500–4000, ≥ 4000 (37, 99, 83 and 41 moduli), and triples+\n (105, 231, 385, 1001, 1155). In all, 251,832 cells per design and family. The SE is a jackknife over blocks.\n- **The HL quantity.** With S = Σ_{n in window} f(n) e(an/q), N = S(0), ρ the HL event density, W(a/q) the exact HL\n first moment and P(h) the class-averaged HL pair density of events, at fixed L = ln x,\n\n F(a/q) = [V(a,a) − |W|² V(0,0)] / (ρH(1 − |W|²)), V(a,a) = ρH + Σ_{0<|h|<H} (H − |h|) e(ah/q) P(h) − (ρH)²|W|².\n\n This is E|S − WN|²/(ρH(1 − |W|²)) with V(a,0) replaced by W·V(0,0) **[DERIVED; the replacement is checked\n numerically: a-averaged error ≤ 3·10⁻⁶ at q ≥ 111, referee §4.4]**.\n- **Exact HL** in this note means F(a/q) computed from these finite lag sums with exact singular-series values at the\n design's H, q and fixed L, with no asymptotics. It is exact within the HL model, not a statement about primes.\n- **Scales.** t = H/q (the lag window per class), θ_q = ln(H/q)/L, ℓ = ln t.\n- **Transfer.** F_transfer is the interval event-count Fano factor at window H/q, in the F_ev convention of our\n code (true interval Fano factor + ρ). \"Miss\" in the score files is F_transfer·factor − F_real.\n\n## 3. The formula (M)\n\n### 3.1 Ingredients\n\n- **Inclusion–exclusion blocks.** A = {0, g} ∪ T, with T an admissible set of interior even points, sign s_A = (−1)^|T|\n (primes A = {0}; twins A = {0, 2}). The local ratio is R_p(d) = (1 − ν_p(S_d)/p)/((1 − ν_p(A)/p)(1 − ν_p(B)/p)).\n Lemma 3 gives Π_p R_p(d)(1 − 1/p)^{m_d} = 𝔖(S_d)/(𝔖(A)𝔖(B)) **[DERIVED; elementary]**.\n- **Local factor at p ∤ q** (two-valued form, referee §2):\n\n F_p(s) = R_p(d) p^{−s} + (p − R_p(d)) (1 − p^{−s})/(p − 1).\n\n It is the exact Dirichlet factor of a model that equals R_p(d) on h ≡ d (p) and the uniform average elsewhere. The inputs are the singular series, the Stieltjes constants and ζ(0).\n- Implementation: theory/ap_predict_v11.py (version 1.1) on theory/ap_second_moment.py (version 1, unchanged). The\n v1 code multiplied two averages for d ≠ 0; v1.1 uses G_l. The change moves the frozen numbers by at most 9.5·10⁻⁴\n (gap 14, q = 105) and leaves the a-averaged rms against exact HL unchanged (README_predict_v11.md §3).\n\n### 3.3 Derivation outline\n\n1. **Factorisation** (Lemma 1, **[DERIVED]**). For |h| > g the class-resolved HL pair density factorises at the primes\n of q. Its class average is the ordinary interval pair density. The h-mean of P(h) is ρ², and that of e(ah/q)P(h)\n is ρ²|W|² (wording fixed per the referee). The H² terms cancel exactly in V(a,a) − |W|²V(0,0).\n2. **Classes.** The lag sum splits by coincidence offset d. A pure class h ≡ d has a Dirichlet series with a pole of\n order m_d at s = 0 (for p > 2g, R_p(d)/R̄_p = 1 + m_d/(p − |A| − |B|)) **[DERIVED]**.\n3. **Mellin.** Σ_{h≥1}(t − h)₊ a(h) = (2πi)⁻¹∫ D(s) t^{s+1}/(s(s+1)) ds. The residue at s = 0 gives t × a polynomial in\n ln t; the remaining contour is taken to be o(t) **[HEURISTIC: Montgomery–Soundararajan-type]**.\n4. **Progressions.** h runs over classes mod q·e. For q > 2g the Hurwitz offsets are exact up to O(δ²s), which is\n non-polar **[DERIVED given step 3]**. Off-class positions equidistribute; non-principal characters do not reach the\n residue **[HEURISTIC, standard]**. Lemma 2 then gives F_p, and at l | q the off-at-l classes carry\n e(a_l(r − d)/l), giving F_l^AP. The factor q^{−s} becomes the window t = H/q.\n5. **Leading order.** For each class the top coefficient is −𝔖(S_d)/(𝔖(A)𝔖(B)) · ℓ^{m_d}/m_d!, the same for every q.\n So F = 1 − θ_q²/2 + O(1/L) for every fixed g ≥ 2, and F = 1 − θ_q + O(1/L) for primes **[CONDITIONAL + HEURISTIC]**.\n\n### 3.4 Explicit laws (two-term level)\n\n- **Primes, with the conditioning term (referee issue 2).** With c = γ + ln 2π − 1 and λ_q = Σ_{l|q} ln l/(l − 1)²,\n\n F_primes(a/q) = 1 − θ_q − [c + (λ_q − ln q/φ(q)²)/(1 − φ(q)⁻²)]/L.\n\n - At prime q, λ_q = ln q/φ(q)², so **the local term vanishes identically**. Exact HL at q = 3, 5, 7, 11, 13\n (L = ln 10¹⁰, H = 2·10⁶) satisfies this to ≤ 10⁻⁵ (referee §4.1). The class statistic's local term ln q/(q − 1)\n would be off by ln q/((q − 1)L), i.e. 0.024 at q = 3.\n - The unconditioned twisted second moment Var S(a/q)/(ρH) carries λ_q itself (§6). At composite q ≥ 105 and\n L = ln 1.0525·10¹² the conditioning part is ≤ 7·10⁻⁵ (6.6·10⁻⁵ at q = 105); it scales as 1/L.\n - Status: **[CONDITIONAL + HEURISTIC]**; the prime-q identity **[DERIVED]**. The mechanism: why the window transfer works for twins and fails for 6 | g\n\n- **Consecutive g, g events have positive HL density iff 3 | g** (g ≥ 2 even). {0, g, 2g} covers ℤ/3 iff 3 ∤ g, and\n it is admissible at every other prime. So, apart from 3, 5, 7, two consecutive gap-g events occur only when 6 | g\n **[DERIVED; elementary]**. Their HL\n probability π_gg = P(g)/ρ is 0.0719, 0.0596, 0.0485, 0.0446 for g = 6, 12, 18, 30 at L = ln 1.0525·10¹²\n (AP_second_moment.md §3.4; the referee re-derived the first three).\n- **In an interval window** (q = 1) these events raise F_ev by about +2π_gg(1 − θ): the peak at h = ±g and its\n arithmetic echo, the d = ±g coincidence class. (Sign slip fixed: −2π_gg(1 − θ_q) belongs to F_ex − F_transfer.)\n The interior hole enters with the opposite sign; the sign of the interior classes depends on g (below).\n- **In the a-averaged progression statistic** every class d ≠ 0 and every short lag carries e(ad/q), whose mean over\n the coprime a is c_q(d)/φ(q) at leading order: about 0 unless q | d. Only the aligned class d = 0 keeps weight 1.\n So the H → H/q transfer misses by ≈ −2π_gg(1 − θ_q) plus the hole and interior-class terms\n **[DERIVED from (M); the total is confirmed by exact HL]**.\n- **Gap 6 at B12, q ≥ 4000** (decomposition within (M), v1 code): −ρ −0.003, local −0.001, d ≠ 0 classes +0.040,\n short range −0.130 (peak −0.144, hole +0.013); sum −0.094, exact −0.094. The split into peak, hole and classes is\n internal to (M) and convention-dependent; only the sums are observable (referee §5.2). The −ρ piece is the F_ev\n convention, not a failure (referee issue 6).\n- **The miss falls with g.** The peak 2π_gg shrinks slowly (0.144, 0.119, 0.097, 0.089 for g = 6, 12, 18, 30), while the\n hole term Σ_{0<|h|<g} σ_g(h)/ρ grows in size (−0.013, −0.046, −0.064, −0.112) (peak and hole as contributions to the\n interval F_ev; they enter F_ex − F_transfer with the opposite sign: −0.144 and +0.013 for gap 6) and the d ≠ 0 classes\n change sign\n (+0.040, +0.014, −0.002, −0.023; their share of F_ex − F_transfer at q ≥ 4000, AP_second_moment.md §3.4). Net\n F_ex − F_transfer at q ≥ 4000, (M) / exact: −0.0941 / −0.0936, −0.0625 / −0.0615, −0.0379 / −0.0373, −0.0018 / −0.0012\n (AP_second_moment.md table B) **[DERIVED from (M); confirmed by exact HL]**. Beyond g = 30 the exact gap changes sign\n (§11).\n- **Control q | g** (referee, exact HL). For gap 6 at q = 3, c_3(6)/φ(3) = 1, so the progression sees the\n consecutive events with full weight. The exact miss F_E − F_ev drops to −0.0072 (predicted −0.0075), against −0.08\n to −0.12 at every q coprime to 3 tried **[MEASURED in exact HL]**.\n- **The g mod 3 split.** For 3 ∤ g, π_gg = 0 and the d = ±g classes reach only constants. Exact HL at B12\n (F_ex − F_transfer, q 100–300 → q ≥ 4000): gap 4 −0.0123 → +0.0010; gap 10 −0.0046 → +0.0091; gap 14 +0.0005 → +0.0163\n (formula within 3·10⁻⁴). Wording fixed per the referee (issue 5): **|miss| ≤ 1.6 %; its sign depends on q and on the\n F_ev convention.** At small q the twin-like local term −Σδ_lθ_q/L dominates (negative); at large q the interior hole\n dominates (positive in F_ex − F_transfer). At q = 3m the transparent-prime term δ_3 = ln 3 dominates: gap 8 misses by\n −0.03 to −0.04 there (referee). Pooled over the 265 moduli, where the large q carry most cells, the registered tests saw\n F_transfer·factor − F_real < 0 for g = 10 and 14 at every design, as predicted (§10).\n- **Why twins transfer.** The twin pair has one polar class, d = 0 (m = 2). Its d = ±2 classes give {0, 2, 4},\n inadmissible mod 3, so they reach only a constant; P(2) = 0, so there is no short-range term. The transfer is\n therefore right at leading order. At O(θ/L) it misses by −Σδ_lθ_q/L (−0.014 at q = 3p). The ±0.5 % agreement at large\n q is a partial cancellation of three small terms (−ρ, the local term, +0.0031 from the d = ±2 constants)\n **[DERIVED; confirmed by the referee: twins F_E − F_ev = −0.021 at q = 111 and +0.0013 at q = 8633, predicted −0.021\n and +0.0010]**.\n- **The prime 3 is transparent for twins.** Every twin p > 3 is 2 mod 3, so F(a/(3m)) = F(a′/m) exactly. The coincidence-class picture in one line\n\nThe second moment of a twist cell is a sum over pairs of inclusion–exclusion blocks and their coincidence offsets d.\nEach offset contributes a Mellin residue at window H/q with explicit local factors at the primes of q, weighted by\ne(ad/q). Twins live in the aligned class alone. Gap events with 6 | g also carry the consecutive-gap peak and interior\nhole, which an interval sees and a progression averages away.\n\n## 6. Assumed throughout: x ≥ 2, 1 ≤ q ≤ x, 1 ≤ h ≤ x (1.3); q need not be\n prime.\n - Conclusion (1.13), for q^{4ε} ≤ h/q ≤ x^{1/2−2ε}, reads\n I = hx log(xq/h) − hx(γ + log(π/2) + Σ_{p|q} log p/(p − 1)) + O(h²) + O_ε(h^{1−ε}x).\n Read from page images of the published paper (prior_art_formula.md); the theorem was not re-proved.\n- **The step that is ours** (prior_art_formula.md (iii); unrefereed as written, but see below). For squarefree q,\n Σ_{(a,q)=1}|Σ f(n)e(an/q)|² = Σ_{d|q} μ(q/d)·d·Σ_{r mod d}|Σ_{n≡r (d)} f(n)|², so the coprime-frequency average is\n (1/φ(q))Σ_{d|q} μ(q/d)·d·I(x, h, d) up to the negligible non-reduced classes. With Σ_{d|q}μ(q/d)d = φ(q),\n Σ_{d|q}μ(q/d)d log d = φ(q)Σ_{p|q} p log p/(p−1) and Σ_{d|q}μ(q/d)d Σ_{p|d} log p/(p−1) = φ(q)Σ_{p|q} p log p/(p−1)²,\n (1.13) gives hx[log(xq/h) − γ − log(π/2) − Σ_{p|q} log p/(p − 1)²]. **[DERIVED, conditional on GY's hypotheses]**\n - **Range.** It needs (1.13) at every d | q, so it holds for q^{1+4ε} ≤ h ≤ x^{1/2−2ε} (the d = 1 term needs\n h ≤ x^{1/2−2ε}), with the error terms multiplied by σ(q)/φ(q). The registered designs have H/√x ≈ 4–350 (X1–X3,\n V1–V4; T1–T3 up to 700), outside that range. There the local term rests on (M) and the tests, not on GY.\n- **Match.** This is λ_q of §3.4 for the unconditioned twisted statistic. GY weight by Λ(n) and average y over [x, 2x];\n our statistic counts primes at fixed L. The constants agree under that shift: γ + ln 2π − 1 − (2 ln 2 − 1) = γ + log(π/2).\n The conditioning on N then adds the term of §3.4, which cancels λ_q at prime q.\n- **Independent checks.** The referee derived the same local term directly from the twisted Dirichlet series\n Σ_h e(ah/q)𝔖(0,h)h^{−s} (report §2), and recovered the class statistic's Σ ln l/(l − 1) (Friedlander–Goldston;\n GY (1.13)) at every squarefree q by Parseval. At B12 the two-term law matches exact HL to ≤ 2·10⁻⁵ in every bin mean (AP_second_moment.md §3.3),\n consistent with the ≤ 7·10⁻⁵ conditioning part at q ≥ 105. The prime-q identity, with the\n typo fixed (referee issue 8), reads: a-averaged unconditioned AP statistic = (q/(q−1))[Σ_r Var(N_r) − Var(N)/q]/(ρH).\n- **How to cite it.** As a corollary of Goldston–Yıldırım, not a discovery.\n\n## 7. The block-covariance estimator correction\n\n- **Why it is needed.** The registered estimator is a variance across *adjacent* blocks. The prime sequence carries\n exactly the long-range correlations (M) describes, so neighbouring blocks are anti-correlated. That inflates the\n sample variance about the sample mean.\n- **The correction (no new input).** D = S(a/q) − WN is additive over blocks, so the variance over m consecutive blocks\n is ρ·m·Hb(1 − |W|²)F(m·Hb). With F_pred × factor and the same bars,\n every bin passes. rms z over 135 cells falls from 2.66 to 0.85 (max |z| 2.24); primes 3.05/4.70/8.07 → 0.90/0.58/0.85\n and g ≥ 2 1.38/1.69/2.67 → 0.75/0.89/0.93 for T1/T2/T3. The largest |diff|/bar is 0.54.\n\n### 10.2 Erratum on ranges\n\nThe first plan called T1–T3 disjoint from every range used so far. That was false (results/RANGES_USED.md):\n- T1 [1e13, 1.005e13) contains the gap-sweep window [1e13, 1.0006e13) (gap-Fano statistic);\n- T2 [1e14, 1.002e14) contains [1e14, 1.00006e14) and overlaps the anomaly_6603 windows [1e14 − 3.2e11, 1e14 + 4.8e11)\n (twin/cousin counts);\n- T3 [2e14, 2.0025e14) overlaps anomaly_6603 [2e14, 2e14 + 3.21e11) (twin/cousin counts) and its timing run.\n\nThe twist-cell statistic had never been computed on any of them, and the predictions came from theory alone, so no\ninformation about the tested quantity was used. The registry RANGES_USED.md was created after this, and the second\ntest's ranges were checked against it.\n\n### 10.3 Test 2 (V1–V4): VERDICT PASS\n\n- **Frozen** 2026-11-07T05:10:44Z (PLAN_second_moment_v2.md; 36 files in PLAN_second_moment_v2.sha256). Bins are a-averages, so per-cell claims\n are untested. All its windows are from 4·10¹³ to 3·10¹⁵ and every block is ≥ 10⁸ (§10.4 extends both).\n- **Dry run.** Before the freeze, the v2 scorer was run on the already-seen T data with post-hoc factors as a code\n check: 135 bins, rms z 0.853, max |z| 2.23 (tests_v2/dryrun_T123.txt). That is not evidence.\n\n### 10.4 Test 3 (X1–X3, large gaps): VERDICT PASS\n\n- **Frozen** 2026-11-07T15:38:37Z (PLAN_second_moment_v3.md; 43 files in PLAN_second_moment_v3.sha256). The first data\n pass (X1_a) was written at 15:39:49Z after a 63.2 s run, so it began 8.2 s after the freeze (data/timeline.txt;\n local clock, no external witness).\n- **Why.** Exact lag sums do not scale past g ≈ 42–48: they cost n(g)² block pairs, and n(g) grows from 665 at g = 30 to\n 15,764 at g = 48 and about 6.3·10⁷ at g = 100. The HL-model simulator (§11) costs time linear in g, so it gives\n HL's prediction for any gap.\n- **Designs** (meta files; fresh against the registry as frozen, results/RANGES_USED_at_v3.md):\n\n | design | range | B × Hb | simulator Y | ln x | max g/ln x |\n |---|---|---|---|---|---|\n | X1 | [1.5e14, 1.5004e14) | 400 × 10⁸ | 6·10⁷ | 32.6 | 2.9 |\n | X2 | [2.5e15, 2.50004e15) | 200 × 2·10⁸ | 1.5·10⁸ | 35.5 | 2.7 |\n | X3 | [5e11, 5.02e11) | 500 × 4·10⁶ | 2.1·10⁶ | 26.9 | 3.6 |\n\n Families: g = 0, 2, 6 (anchors, already tested in V1–V4) and 36, 40, 42, 48, 50, 54, 60, 64, 72, 80, 84, 96. The multiples\n of 6 can have consecutive equal gaps (§4); 40, 50, 64 and 80 cannot. Statistic, moduli and bins are unchanged. At g = 96\n a block holds on average 12,164 (X1), 26,821 (X2) and 345 (X3) events.\n- **Predictions** (frozen before any data).\n - **Primary: the simulator in mode B,** 50 sets per design. Each set is one simulated design: B consecutive blocks\n under one random draw, so the inter-block covariance is included. Sets start at random within ±5·10⁹ of the design\n midpoint, with L = ln n. In every design Y ≥ (Hb + g)/2 for every family, so cutting the singular series at Y\n changes nothing at first order for lags within a block (§11); the keep probability is 0.946–0.977. The bin\n prediction and its MC SE are the mean and SE over the 50 sets.\n - Lags between blocks reach B·Hb ≫ 2Y, where the cut is not zero. For the a-averaged twisted statistic its effect is\n small. Two checks bound it: the mode-B check at B12 (B·Hb = 2.5·10⁸ ≫ 2Y = 10⁷; §7), and the agreement of the\n simulator with (M) × factor at g = 36–48 in every X design: at most 6.8·10⁻⁵ in the pairs ≥ 4000 bin, and\n elsewhere a difference over the simulator's SE of rms 1.22 and max 3.39 over 48 bins, which includes (M)'s own\n error (validators/vx_rescore_v3.py step 7).\n - **Secondary: (M) × factor** for g = 36, 40, 42, 48, from scripts/theory/ap_fast.py (a GPU implementation of version\n 1.1, equal to it to ≤ 4.8·10⁻¹⁴ relative, checked at g ≤ 30; tools/hl_fast.README.md), with the factor of §7.\n- **Rules** (tests_v3/rules.json).\n - R1: |F_real − F_sim| ≤ 4·√(SE_real² + SE_sim²) + 5·10⁻⁵ in all 225 bins (3 designs × 15 families × 5 bins). The\n 5·10⁻⁵ covers simulator systematics, measured ≤ 7.5·10⁻⁶ at B12.\n - R2: |F_real − F_M,E| ≤ 4·SE_real + tol in all 60 bins of g = 36–48, with tol = 5·env(t_med)/√n_q + floor (t_med\n the median H/q of the bin) and env(t) = 1.8·10⁻⁴·(t/5.5·10⁴)^−0.2. The 1.8·10⁻⁴ is (M)'s per-q error at g = 36–48 as the simulator measures it\n (§11). The floor is 10⁻⁴ for the pair bins and 4·10⁻⁴ for triples+.\n - VERDICT PASS iff R1 and R2 both hold.\n- **Null runs** (made before any data; reported, not rules).\n - (a) Leave-one-out over the 50 simulated sets: each set is scored against the other 49 under the R1 bar, with the\n across-set SD as its SE. This gives each design its own distribution of rms z and max |z|.\n - (b) One pseudo-real simulated set per design (independent seed; families 0, 6, 48, 72, 96), written in the\n classcount format and scored through the real-data path, jackknife SE included. Its counts file was deleted after\n scoring, as the plan says.\n - **The first null design was abandoned.** The first prediction pipeline made four pseudo-real sets per design with\n all 15 families. Each counts file takes 12–16 GB. After seven of them (four for X3, three for X1) the disk was\n full. They were deleted, no result from them was used, and the null was redesigned as above, before the freeze and\n before any X data existed. The simulator predictions for X3 and X1 from that pipeline were kept (predictions from\n fixed seeds). The redesigned null step then stopped once on a JSON type error and was rerun with the same seed\n after a fix to third_test.py, also before the freeze (tests_v3/run_predictions*_scrubbed.log).\n - third_test.py was edited before the freeze, for the null redesign and the JSON fix, so the frozen version is not\n byte-identical to the revision that wrote the simulator, (M) and rules files. The frozen version reproduces\n rules.json byte for byte, and its simulator command lines equal those in the logs (validators/vx_rescore_v3.py\n step 8). The redesigned null reused\n the seeds of the first design's first sets (32020 for X3, 32000 for X1); this is harmless, because those sets were\n never scored.\n- **Result** (tests_v3/score_X123.txt) **[MEASURED]**: **R1 PASS; R2 PASS; VERDICT PASS.** Validator (e) reproduces the\n score file byte for byte from data/summ_X*.npz and the frozen simulator outputs, and recomputes the leave-one-out\n null.\n - **R1:** 225 bins, rms z 1.035, max |z| 2.98 (X1, g = 64, triples+; |diff|/bar 0.74). Per design X1/X2/X3: rms z\n 0.998/1.039/1.067 and max |z| 2.98/2.53/2.11. Their leave-one-out 5–95 % ranges are rms 0.884–1.169, 0.861–1.185\n and 0.887–1.157, and max 2.11–3.59, 2.06–3.64 and 2.16–3.41. All three rms z, and the max |z| of X1 and X2, lie\n inside. X3's max |z| (2.11) lies just below its 5 % point (2.16): its largest deviation is smaller than in 95 % of\n its null sets. The plan requires a value outside the range to be reported. This one is on the conservative side\n and affects no rule.\n - **R2:** all 60 bins pass; the largest |diff|/bar is 0.60 (X1, g = 48, triples+). In the pairs ≥ 4000 bin the\n difference |F_real − F_M,E| is at most 3.8·10⁻⁴.\n - **Nulls:** leave-one-out R1 pass fraction 0.98/1.00/0.98. The pseudo-real sets pass R1 and R2, with rms z\n 1.103/0.863/1.032 and max |z| 2.31/3.15/2.33.\n - **Reported without a verdict.**\n - Over the 180 bins with g ≥ 36, z has mean +0.018 and rms 1.058. At\n g = 96 the departure from Poisson is still resolved: in the pairs ≥ 4000 bin 1 − F_real is 30, 24 and 11 SE_real\n (X1, X2, X3), and in the four pair bins the relative SE of 1 − F is 3–25 %; triples+ does not resolve it\n (validators/vx_rescore_v3.py step 6).\n- **What the PASS shows.** On fresh primes from 5·10¹¹ to 2.5·10¹⁵, the residue-class second moment of prime-gap events\n follows HL's random model, with no fitted parameter, up to g = 96 and g/ln x = 3.6, inter-block covariance included.\n (M) with its factor fits real primes at g = 36–48.\n- **What it does not show.**\n - It proves nothing: HL is a conjecture, and the simulator is a Monte Carlo of HL's model.\n - For g > 48 the reference is the simulator alone. It is checked against exact HL to g = 42 and against (M) to g = 48\n (§11); beyond that it rests on its construction, which does not depend on g.\n - Bins are a-averages, and X3's largest gaps have few events per block (345 at g = 96).\n\n## 11. Large g: exact HL, (M) and the HL-model simulator\n\nThe real-data test at large g is §10.4. This section gives the theory-side checks behind it, at B12 (Hb = 9,999,900,\nL = ln 1.0525·10¹²) unless stated (validators/large_g_check.py).\n- **(M) against exact HL** per modulus: g = 30 rms 1.65·10⁻⁴ (max 5.6·10⁻⁴); g = 36 rms 1.69·10⁻⁴ (max 6.0·10⁻⁴);\n **g = 42 rms 1.33·10⁻⁴ (max 4.5·10⁻⁴)**. The g = 42 prediction file was written at 05:11:51Z and the exact file at\n 08:50:29Z (data/large_g/PROVENANCE.txt; local clock). The g = 42 comparison was first made while drafting this\n note **[DERIVED numerically]**.\n- **The transfer gap changes sign.** F − F_transfer, unweighted mean over the 265 moduli: −0.0070 (g = 30), +0.0115\n (36), +0.0170 (42) exact; (M) gives −0.0072, +0.0115, +0.0170 and predicts +0.0191 at g = 48 (no exact sum)\n **[DERIVED from (M); confirmed by exact HL to g = 42]**.\n- **The HL-model simulator** (tools/hlsim_gpu.cu; tools/hlsim.README.md). It samples the HL random model on the GPU\n (a random-residue-class sieve as in Banks–Ford–Tao, Invent. Math. 233 (2023) 1471–1518, arXiv:1908.08613, followed\n by Cramér-type thinning) and applies the registered estimator to the samples.\n - The model: every odd prime p ≤ 100 removes class 0 mod p (the real structure at the primes of the moduli); every\n prime 100 < p ≤ Y removes one random class, fixed for a group of blocks; each survivor n is kept with probability\n boost/L, boost = Π_{p≤Y}(1 − 1/p)⁻¹, so Y ≤ Y_max(x) ≈ x^0.56. Gap-g events are kept n whose next kept integer is\n n + g. One draw per block is mode A (independent blocks); one draw per set of B consecutive blocks is mode B.\n - Its k-point densities are HL's with the singular series cut at Y, so every quantity built from them is exact HL with\n 𝔖 → 𝔖_Y **[DERIVED]**. Primes p > Y couple lags h ≡ d (mod 2p), the smallest of which exceeds Hb when\n Y ≥ (Hb + g)/2; then the cut changes nothing at first order **[DERIVED]**. B12, and all three X designs, meet this.\n - Block starts must be random: with all blocks at one start, the class structure at p ≤ 100 is the same in every\n block and F comes out 0.5–3 % low.\n - **Against exact HL** (mode A, fixed L): at B12, 120,000 blocks at Y = 5·10⁶, per-(family, q) z rms 1.008 (n = 1855,\n g = 0–36, max 4.21) and per-bin z rms 0.96 (n = 35); at T1 (Hb = 10⁸, Y = 10⁷, with the tail correction),\n per-(family, q) z rms 1.009 (n = 2385, g ≤ 30) and per-bin 0.95 (n = 45). At g = 42, compared while drafting this note\n against the exact sum that finished at 08:50Z, per-q z has mean −0.036, rms 1.063 and max 3.05 (n = 265)\n **[MEASURED in the HL model]**.\n - It cannot replace exact sums for precision (its error is about 1/√blocks), and it samples the HL model only.\n - In the pairs ≥ 4000 bin at B12, F climbs toward Poisson: 0.97706 (g = 36), 0.98098 (42), 0.98548 (48), 0.98835\n (54), 0.99023 (60), 0.99460 (72), 0.99628 (84), 0.99786 (96), each ± ≈ 8·10⁻⁶. (M)'s implied per-q error is 1.9,\n 1.8, 1.7·10⁻⁴ at g = 36, 42, 48: it does not grow with g **[MEASURED in the HL model]**\n (sim/predict_B12_A_Y5e6.json, M_error_by_g.json, validate_B12_A_Y5e6.json, design_T1.json).\n- **(M) against the simulator** at g = 36–48: every bin agrees to ≤ 8·10⁻⁵ (tools/hlsim.README.md, \"Large g at B12\").\n- **Reach.** Exact pair sums cost n(g)²·H and (M) costs n(g)²·g·|Q|, with n(g) inclusion–exclusion blocks: n(30) = 665,\n n(36) = 1920, n(42) = 6240, n(48) = 15764, and about 6.3·10⁷ at g = 100 (PLAN_second_moment_v3.md). The simulator's\n cost is linear in g. Its limit is Y ≤ Y_max(x), with ln Y_max/ln x = 0.559 (keep probability ≤ 1). At Hb ≫ Y the\n missing primes need a lattice correction, which reaches 10⁻³ at T3 and V3 (sim/tail_designs.json;\n validators/large_g_check.py (6)); the X designs were chosen so that it is zero at first order.\n\n## 12. Prior art, and what is new\n\n### 12.1 Known pieces (cite them)\n\n- **All primes.** Class-by-class two-point sums along progressions: Lemke Oliver–Soundararajan, PNAS 113 (2016)\n E4446–E4454 (arXiv:1603.03720), Prop. 2.1; V. Kuperberg, arXiv:2301.06095 (Int. J. Number Theory 21 (2025) 53–74),\n Lemmas 3.1–3.2; Friedlander–Goldston, Quart. J. Math. Oxford 47 (1996) 313–336, Prop. 3 (read as quoted in Leung,\n arXiv:2402.07941, eq. (2.7)). The Mellin method: Montgomery–Soundararajan, Comm. Math. Phys. 252 (2004) 589–617\n (read as quoted). In the two-point case (F) is the classical Euler factor of Σ_n 𝔖({0,n})n^{−s}, and F_AP reduces to LOS\n Prop. 2.1 plus Ramanujan sums (prior_art_formula.md (ii)).\n- **The primes' local term** Σ ln l/(l − 1)²: Goldston–Yıldırım 1998, Thm 1, eq. (1.13), plus our Möbius step (§6).\n The local term Σ ln p/(p − 1) belongs to the class statistic. Friedlander–Goldston (1996) conjecture it for a single\n modulus and prove it under a Hardy–Littlewood hypothesis, and GY (1.13) has it for short segments. Hooley (Proc. ICM\n Vancouver 1974) conjectured only the leading term X log Q (as quoted in Keating–Rudnick, arXiv:1204.0708, §1).\n- **Twins in progressions.** W. Sawin's accepted MathOverflow answer 511190 (question 511187, 2026-05-11) says,\n verbatim: \"I don't think anything nontrivial is known about the distribution of twin prime pairs in arithmetic\n progressions.\"\n- **Variance over consecutive primes in a character cell.** G. Mussardo, A. LeClair, \"Generalized Riemann Hypothesis and\n Stochastic Time Series\", J. Stat. Mech. (2018) 063205, arXiv:1803.10223, Theorem 3 (eqs. 60–62), assuming the LOS\n conjectures and for q prime (their text after eq. (29); footnote 6 extends (60) to characters of every order, not to\n composite q): the variance of block sums of cos arg χ(p_n) over N consecutive primes. It covers all primes and\n multiplicative characters, with χ₂ mod 7 numerically. The companion A. LeClair, G. Mussardo, J. Stat. Mech. (2019)\n 023203 (arXiv:1809.06158) reports numerics for q = 5 and 7. Our #7075 added it to #7060's prior art. It is the nearest published antecedent for the\n primes family; it has no gap events, no additive cells e(ap/q) and no composite q.\n- **Sieve models in intervals.** Granville–Lumley (Exp. Math. 32 (2023) 378–404; arXiv:2009.05000, Appendix B) find\n that a pre-sieved binomial model overstates interval variances against data. Gorodetsky (Math. Z. 308 (2024), paper\n 59; arXiv:2111.00853) proves that integers free of prime factors ≤ y have interval variance below the naive\n probabilistic prediction once the interval is at least a power of y. That bears on our exploratory real/HL-model\n variance ratios (anomaly scan). (M) is full HL with no cut. The simulator of §11 is cut at Y; for lags within a block\n the cut changes nothing at first order when Y ≥ (Hb + g)/2, which every simulated design of §10.4 meets, and lags\n between blocks are bounded by the checks in §10.4.\n- **On the register.** The sample-variance identity with inter-block covariance and its Hardy–Littlewood form for twin\n block counts: #4494 and #4524 (§7). The twin b-coefficient: #5275 (§3.4).\n- **Elementary.** Consecutive equal gaps need 6 | g (apart from 3, 5, 7); the hole P(h) = 0 for 0 < |h| < g; Lemma 2 and Parseval.\n\n### 12.2 Searched and not found\n\nprior_art_formula.md and prior_art_second_moment.md (17 + 24 web searches, about 40 arXiv API listings, OpenAlex\ncitations of LOS, Kuperberg and Goldston–Yıldırım, 21 StackExchange API queries), and a full-text keyword scan of all\n4,730 cached twin-prime register returns up to #7093 (data/register_scan/, refreshed 2026-11-07) found none of the following.\n- a variance, second moment or Fano factor of fixed-gap consecutive-prime event counts in residue classes;\n- a twin or k-tuple Montgomery–Hooley-type law with a main term;\n- the coincidence-class decomposition for multi-point inclusion–exclusion blocks with the twist e(ad/q), or the multi-off\n local factor and its AP form for such blocks;\n- the statement that consecutive equal gaps break the H → H/q transfer of gap-event statistics, or its g mod 3 split;\n- the gap 6 / twin crossing.\n\nLimits: formula search engines do not match expressions; Friedlander–Goldston, Montgomery–Soundararajan and Hooley were\nread only as quoted; non-English literature was not searched. One register return (#5610) cites \"Kuperberg,\narXiv:2310.10953\" for variances of twin and k-tuple singular series over progressions; that identifier resolves to an\nunrelated machine-learning paper (checked 2026-11-07), and the Kuperberg progression paper we read in full,\n2301.06095, has no twist, no gap events and no variance of prime counts. Our own scan covered returns only; an\nindependent referee then scanned all 1,401 served reviews (ids to 2423; that scan is not shipped) and found three\nrelevant ones, #1110 (on #3465), #1636 (on #4494) and #1640 (on #4524), now cited in §7 and §12.3, and nothing on twins\nor gap events in progressions, twisted cells, GY/FG/Hooley, or 6 | g in a variance. The register returns #4494 and #4524\nwere missed by our scan because its covariance topic required the words \"adjacent\", \"neighbouring\" or \"consecutive\"\nblocks.\n\n### 12.3 Route 250: a related object, a different statistic\n\nRoute 250 (#2648, #2680, #2967, #3465, #4936, #5867) measures the class-composition statistic T of twin openers mod\nQ = 15 and 105, inside blocks of h = 2^12–2^18 integers at X = 2^27. Given each block's total, T/E[T] = 0.711–0.893\nagainst a multinomial whose class probabilities are the block's available-position shares.\n\n#2680 found that holding the opener counts fixed in every sub-window leaves the ratio unchanged down to sub-windows of\n256 integers. At Q = 15, h = 2^18 it moves from 0.7140 to 0.7161, 0.7860 and 0.9481 at 32, 16 and 8 integers.\n\n#3465 noted that E[T] is a two-point functional. It measured a long-range negative class correlation,\nrho_a(j) ≈ −0.039/j at Q = 15. Trusted review #1110 accepted #3465 at measured, but narrowed its closure f(L) → 1 to a\nnear-identity, since the pair ladder comes from the same sequence. #4936 replaced that step. The route's held step\n(#4936, #5867) is the block-to-block fluctuation of T.\n\nThe two objects are related. Both measure how evenly twins split over residue classes within a block, given the block\ntotal, and q = 105 is in both. They differ in three ways.\n- Statistic and null: we use Fourier cells at the coprime frequencies, against a multinomial whose class probabilities\n are common to all blocks (estimated by the across-block mean W̄; HL supplies the predicted F, not the null). Route 250\n uses a class chi-square against each block's available-position shares, which takes the small-prime wheel's\n block-to-block variation out of its null.\n- Scale: blocks of 10⁸–10¹⁰ integers (about 10⁵–10⁷ twins each, t = H/q up to 10⁸), against 17–1112 openers per block.\n- Kind: a parameter-free prediction from HL, tested on fresh data, against a measured ratio and a measured\n class-correlation profile.\n\nWe do not evaluate route 250's T and make no claim about its values (verbatim lines: data/route250_excerpts.txt).\n\n### 12.4 What is new here (as far as we searched)\n\n1. Formula (M): the twist-cell second moment of gap-g events (and twins and primes) in progressions as a sum over\n coincidence classes of inclusion–exclusion block pairs, with the multi-off local factor and its AP form\n **[CONDITIONAL + HEURISTIC]** (its primes case reduces to published pieces and a corollary of\n Goldston–Yıldırım: §6, §12.1).\n2. The mechanism: consecutive g, g events (6 | g) break the window transfer; g ≢ 0 mod 3 transfers within 1.6 %; the gap\n 6 / twin near-equality is a q- and L-dependent crossing **[DERIVED from (M); exact HL]**.\n3. The inter-block covariance factor of the twist-cell statistic, evaluated from (M) itself, and its pre-registered\n test (R3: V3 primes, uncorrected F_pred rejected at +13.9 SE; R1: F_pred × factor passes in every bin)\n **[DERIVED; MEASURED]**. The sample-variance\n identity, and its Hardy–Littlewood cross-block form for interval twin counts, are on the register (#4494, #4524;\n §7).\n4. Pre-registered real-data passes: (M) for g = 0, 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 18 and 30 at 4·10¹³–3·10¹⁵ (V1–V4), and HL's\n random model for g = 36–96 with (M) for g = 36, 40, 42 and 48 at 5·10¹¹–2.5·10¹⁵ (X1–X3), in a-averaged bins,\n reported with the full registered history, two FAILs included **[MEASURED]**.\n\n## 13. Referee fixes applied in this note\n\nReferee report results/twist/theory/referee/referee_report_v1_scrubbed.md (verdict SOUND WITH FIXES):\n1. Issue 1 (code ≠ (M) for d ≠ 0 at l | q): fixed in version 1.1 before the first freeze (§3.2).\n2. Issue 2 (prime law omits the conditioning term): corrected law and prime-q cancellation (§3.4).\n3. Issue 3 (per-a validity q ≲ 0.1√H): stated as the domain (§9.3, §1).\n4. Issue 4 (crossing): q- and L-dependence, untested at L = 27.68, exact sign change at L = 18.4 (§4).\n5. Issue 5 (\"opposite sign\"): replaced by \"|miss| ≤ 1.6 %; sign depends on q and convention\" (§4).\n6. Issue 6 (−ρ is a convention): stated (§2, §4).\n7. Issue 7 (sign slip): the interval F is raised by +2π_gg(1 − θ) (§4).\n8. Issue 8 (typo): −Var(N)/q in the prime-q identity (§6).\n9. Lemma 1 wording (h-means ρ² and ρ²|W|²) (§3.3); §1.5's bound now checked numerically (§2); Lemmas 2–3 called\n classical or elementary (§3.1); \"q > 2g\" called sufficient, not necessary (§3.2). Not done: the class-family\n bookkeeping of (F) (issue 10; §15).\n10. Kept as approximations, with their effects measured (README_predict_v11.md):\n - the conditioning ratio uses the a-averaged numerator (≤ 4.5·10⁻⁵ at B12, referee §3 item 2);\n - J = 6 and Euler products to 10⁷ (also in ap_fast for g = 36–48, where the checks against exact HL and the\n simulator bound their effect);\n - the code was modified after the blind g = 30 file and reproduces it exactly (referee §4.7, issue 12).\n11. Two further independent sub-agent referees reviewed this package before posting, one for the mathematics, numbers\n and claims and one for sources, prior art and format. Both found it READY WITH FIXES. Their fixes are applied in\n this version, except two optional items declined with reasons (a new [COMPUTED] label, outside the register's label\n set; adding route 247 to the association). Both then re-checked the revised package in a second round and found it\n READY; their remaining wording fixes are applied.\n\n## 14. Falsifiers\n\n1. **Real data.** A new pre-registered design with adjacent blocks and F_E built in, on fresh ranges (checked against\n RANGES_USED_current.md), any family, any bin outside 4·SE + tol. If exact HL also fails (R0-type), that is a finding\n about HL; if exact HL fits and (M) does not, it locates an error in (M).\n2. **Exact HL.** For any g ≤ 42, q ≥ 105, L ≥ 27 and t ≥ 10⁴, a-averaged (M) − exact beyond 5·rms_env(t)\n (README_predict_v11.md §4). Smaller q or L, and g/L ≳ 1, are outside the calibrated range; there the referee's\n residuals already reach 2·10⁻³ (§9.2).\n3. **Per a.** For q/√H ≤ 0.07, a per-a rms of (M) − exact beyond 10⁻³, or a gap-6 per-a correlation below 0.99.\n4. **Mechanism.** At q coprime to 3: a g ≢ 0 mod 3 family with a transfer miss of gap-6 size (≥ 5 %), or gap 6 without\n one; at q = 3, a gap-6 miss far from −0.0075.\n5. **Primes.** At prime q, a nonzero local term at O(1/L) in exact HL or in real data with enough precision (the\n class statistic's term would show as ln q/((q − 1)L)).\n6. **Covariance.** A design with B = 25 and primes where the uncorrected F_pred is not rejected, or where the factor\n over-corrects beyond the bar.\n7. **Large g.**\n - Exact HL at g = 48 disagreeing with (M)'s transfer gap +0.0191 beyond the envelope.\n - The simulator departing from exact HL at g = 42 or 48 beyond its MC error.\n - A fresh pre-registered design in which real primes depart from the simulator beyond the R1 bar, for any g.\n\n## 15. Open problems **[OPEN]**\n\n1. **Rigour.** The prime law as a theorem about the HL model (the referee calls it the cheapest upgrade); (M) for fixed\n g as a theorem about the HL model (continuation of each block pair's twisted series, class-family bookkeeping,\n a remainder O(t^{−1/2+ε}) with its q-dependence); statements about primes need HL with uniformity.\n2. **Per-a scatter for q ≳ √H** (the minor-arc part of the twisted lag sum): model it.\n3. **The crossing at L = 27.68** against exact HL (needs larger H/q).\n4. **Large g.** Real data beyond g = 96 or g/ln x = 3.6; per-q (not only per-bin) comparisons there; exact HL at g = 48\n against (M)'s +0.0191; and whether the anchors' slightly negative mean z in X1–X3 (§10.4) persists at higher\n precision.\n5. **Fixed L.** The variation of ln n inside a window is ignored (it mattered at 10⁻³ in the 20 % windows W10–W12).\n6. **Route 250's T** from the same pair densities, which #3465's identity makes possible in principle.\n7. **Novelty of the textbook-level identities** (the two-valued F_p, F_AP) in the singular-series literature: a\n dedicated search (Montgomery–Vaughan exercises; \"Beyond pair correlation\") was not done.\n\n## 16. Those for g = 36–48 (tests_v3/M_X*_g*.json) came from the GPU code and are checked by\n hash only: the frozen CPU code's 64-bit residue masks overflow at g = 36. The simulator outputs (sim_X*.F.bin) are\n checked by hash, and the leave-one-out null is recomputed from them (e).\n- Run from the package root with python3 ≥ 3.10, numpy ≥ 2.0 and mpmath. **Do not use python3 -I** for (a), (a2), (b),\n (c), (e), (f) and b12_factor_check: they import sibling modules by path. scripts/theory/fano.py builds a prime table to 10⁷ on\n import (about 1 s). No GPU is needed. The GPU tools that made the data are shipped as source (tools/classcount_gpu.cu,\n hl_pairs_gpu.cu, hlsim_gpu.cu, ap_fast_core.cu with scripts/theory/ap_fast.py), not as binaries. The exact-HL tool\n for g = 36 and 42 is not shipped; its outputs are (data/large_g/).\n- data/summ_V1234.npz and data/summ_X1.npz, summ_X2.npz, summ_X3.npz hold, per design, family and modulus, the\n per-block vector that measure() returns on the raw counts; data/summ_T123_bins.npz the same summed per bin.\n validators/build_summaries.py and build_summaries_v3.py made them from the raw counts (about 25 GB and 35 GB, not\n shipped). Each build checked bit-for-bit equality of binned() first; the v3 build also ran the frozen scorer on the\n raw counts and got the shipped score file (data/build_summaries.out, build_summaries_v3.out).\n- Frozen files are shipped byte-identical, except the referee report (scrubbed of a local path), the compiled\n binaries, the simulator's per-cell sums sim_X*.cells.bin (3 × 60 MB; no rule or scorer reads them), and the\n first-moment test's model predictions and model counts (3 × 64 MB and 2.9 GB). The ranges registry changed after\n each run, as the plans say, and is shipped in its three states (results/RANGES_USED.md as the second plan froze it,\n RANGES_USED_at_v3.md as the third froze it, RANGES_USED_current.md). SCRUBBED.txt lists every scrubbed copy with its\n source hash.\n- Ten frozen files (three prose, seven code) have a line ending in a single letter and a colon, which a leak checker\n may misread as a drive path. Each is shipped as frozen and also as a pre-staged scrubbed copy (the same path with\n \"_scrubbed\" before the extension; SCRUBBED.txt). If the platform refuses an original, validators/restore_layout.py\n puts the copy at its path and vd_hashes.py reports it as a SCRUBBED COPY.\n- NUMBERS.md lists every number in this note with the file it comes from. README_pkg.md describes the package.\n\n---\n\n## Files of this return (job 14030)\n\n- **The package**, 290 text files named `tap-<path with / as ->` (MANIFEST.sha256 as tap-MANIFEST.sha256.txt; every\n .sha256, .utc and .cu file with \".txt\" appended, content and sha256 unchanged). All were accepted as shipped,\n including the three originals the package flagged as likeliest leak-check refusals (PLAN_second_moment_v3.md,\n README_predict_v11.md, AP_second_moment.md); their pre-staged *_scrubbed copies went up too, as listed in the manifest.\n- **The 8 binaries are not uploaded** (the file service takes text only). In that rebuilt copy vd_hashes, va_rescore_v2, va2_rescore_v1, vx_rescore_v3, vc_exact, large_g_check and b12_factor_check gave stdout byte-identical to validators/expected/ (run directly, not under the executor; vb_formula and vf_formula_g30 were not repeated there).\n- **This run**, 31 files `twrun-…`: the pre-registration (twrun-twist_prereg.scrubbed.md; the saved direction's\n private id replaced by a description, original sha f3525820…), the check script and its output\n (twrun-twist_check.py, twist_check.out; the first run's 84/85 output and the pre-fix script were overwritten, not kept),\n the peak-RSS wrapper twrun-rss.py, and for each of the nine validators its stdout, stderr and executor record\n (twrun-logs-<validator>.stdout.txt, .stderr.txt, .exec.json; local paths in the records replaced by placeholders).\n- **Referee**, 24 files `referee_twistAP-…`: REPORT.md (its final message, saved verbatim by this session because\n the referee's harness refused report-file writes), its scripts and outputs. Its downloads of public records are not\n uploaded.\n\n**Disclosure for the record:** the note and package were prepared outside this run, in separate Claude Code sessions\n(mostly Claude Opus 5.5; some steps used other Claude models), with independent sub-agent referees/checks.
